I got rid of social media quite some time ago. But I notice what people do on it, and they fake. Fake being happy on there with their families or kids, but really they are just miserable. Its really disturbing that people don’t see the truth anymore, but instead it upsets them. Have fun living the lie.

Social media is both a social drug of destruction and a potent weapon. Social media feels on the egos of its users. And the users can use social media to silently wreck the lives of others through rumors and coordinated conspiracies.

This is one of the reasons I am polite those those around me. I realize that everyone around me has a knife. With them just waiting for the slightest excuse to plunge those knives into my back when I am not looking.

I do not say this out of fear. I say this out of inconvenience. Fear would imply that I have something to lose. Which I do not. But, I find it easier to be polite in my day to day life. Let them think what they want of me as long as they do not think about harming me.

So true. The popularity of social media is proof the teenage brain is not fully developed, just ask any neurologist.
Facebook started out as a Harvard’s dropout way to get dumb chicks to f~~~ him. It is now become a way for stupid teenage girls to put every boring detail of their boring lives on line.
We evolved as as a social species, not a social media species.
What our DNA calls for is real face time. Not Facebook time.
There is a huge difference.

Personally I’ve found endless hours of entertainment poking holes in the little bubbles of “happiness” people s~~~ out all over Facebook. My current favorite topic, at the moment is Anti-gun lobbyist in my liberal “friends” circle. It is interesting (to me at least) that I’ve never blocked a single person for expressing their opinions on my page, but when I do likewise, well, lets just say my “friends” circle gets a little smaller every day. LOL.

You can’t take that s~~~ seriously. It is like driving past a car crash. Interesting to glance at, but spend too long looking at it and you’re likely to get in a wreck of your own.

Facebook is a fad. Once enough people destroy themselves and drive others away through BS or just completely useless content, it’ll collapse. Twitter is already dying a quick death, and I actually find twitter quite useful for news, weather, and sports.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. Facebook is who you want people to think you are, not who you really are. To go along with that with any idea or notion that you are being even a little bit genuine is just laughable. And to think that people talk about it as though it’s socializing and not a game of being a fake is also laughable.

I’ve noticed that people that spend a lot of time on Facebook tend to be very fake people. I’m sure we all have people in our life that want us to spend more time on Facebook, and I also recommend cutting those people out of your life.
