It reminds me of what Tom Leykis mentioned about sports bars. He goes to these bars and they are over-run by women who have invaded this male space (example; the TV sets volume are turned so low you cannot hear the game). Even in a domestic setting, most, if not all rooms (including the garage), are over-run by the woman.

The Cycle of Female/SJW Inclusivity

In The Beginning: “Wow, you’re such nerds for enjoying whatever activity it is that I have no interest in”.

How It Starts: “Now that the thing I have no interest in is growing in popularity among men, I’m suddenly interested in it

(well not so much it, but the fact that I can garner the attention of a lot of men if I plop myself in the middle of it)”.

Step 1: “We demand you include us in your space”.

yeah – if you want to go to a bar and chat then f~~~ off to a non-sports one! Although the new wave of female sports fans are even worse to have around. F~~~ me they are annoying and know f~~~ all about sport but think wearing a shirt of a particular team makes them some sort of diehard fan

get the f~~~ out of our space and stay the f~~~ out

(we do it here all the time. a lot of men dedicate their time here to keeping them out)

Don’t get me started on video games! Video games use to be good back in the 80s and 90s. They required actual skill and careful strategy. These days, it is just cookie cutter DLC, half broken out the door on day one bulls~~~. Most kids these days can’t handle teamwork/strategy. While i agreed with 95% of the points made in the linked article, I felt that it was a bit too sympathetic to the “geeks”. Yes, there are those people who geek out about a thing because they love it and it gives their life meaning, but lets be honest here… MOPs don’t invade and dilute geek cultures because they’re looking for obscure, nerdy things to invade and dilute but because the geeks themselves are promoting the s~~~ out of their geek cultures in the hopes of extracting the social and liquid capital out of them before the sociopaths show up.

It doesn’t work that way. All forms of music, including dubstep and ‘EDM’ which were about as geeky as you could get in music (to the point of being irrythmic and atonal on purpose) have been mined out by MOPs and sociopaths with VERY FEW of the geeks getting anything out of it. Guys like Skrillex and Deadmau5 and a few others before them didn’t work to preserve their musical genre, they sold it out as hard and fast as they could.

Comic books, video games and anime are all washed up as well. Everything is the same, there is little or no innovation left, it’s all about extracting money at all levels with everyone hoping to be one of the few with a chair to sit in when the music stops. Soon costuming and burlesque will be done as well. And what new scenes are there coming up? Nothing… the temporarily reanimated corpse of vaudville isn’t going to hold together long enough to make anyone rich and the reheated Gong Show isn’t going to run a whole season.

I wouldn’t even be surprised to see MGTOW go commercial. It may have already happened.

You want to be a part of a scene that can’t be invaded and destroyed? You’ve got three choices. 1) Pick something, like aeronautics, that is so expensive the MOPs can’t afford to participate from the start or 2) do something, like ice fishing, that is so uncomfortable that the MOPs won’t stick around long enough to spoil it or 3) do something that is so boring, like HAM radio, that the MOPs can’t see any value im it.

Ideally you should do something that is all three, like astronomy, deep sea scuba diving, or vehicle restoration. There may be moments where your geekdom is of general interest but as soon as the moment passes, people will lose interest and move on and you’ll be able to do what you love along with a few other geeks, save and sound in the knowledge that nobody but the equipment manufacturers and a few sellouts who cater to super-wealthy tourists will ever make a dime at it so it can never be taken away from you.

VR is massively innovative but I think it will only stay niche due to the price and the lack of games available for it

but otherwise that is true. I see the MOPS inviting in the girls in the hope of finding their unicorn, but they come in and ruin whatever it is you have been doing because that is just what women do
