This was obviously engineered to get a reaction from the likes of the MGTOW movement but it illustrates succinctly why I will be retiring and leaving North America permanently within the next 5 years:

Disgusting. But a good example of where western culture is heading. Note the land whale at the end. Becoming the norm. I’m planning on leaving the US when I turn 60 – about 5 more years. Enough is enough.

I have been seriously looking for a way out for awhile now. One of the problems is most other countries close their borders.

Unless I can pose as a Syrian refugee or something, I’m not sure how I’d get somewhere else. And I’ve never taken government subsidies my entire life, so I don’t even know how that would work. It’s hard enough to get work in the US and support oneself, I would imagine it’s even harder in a different nation with different practices.

We need to invest in a few harpoons and some earplugs gentlemen.
I like your idea re: expatriation, although be sure to visit your future home before you actually move. I fear these land whales may be there also.

Ecuador, Thailand, Costa Rica, Laos, I’m coming. Good-Bye, America!

Sign me up! 20k a year in these countries and you can live an upper class life style…live in a gated community, eat at nice restaurants often, etc. If this country keeps going down the s~~~ter like it has been I’ll be pulling the plug sometimes between 35-40 and enjoying 25-30 years of leisure time in foreign countries before most of my peers can even think about retiring.

500k in a post tax brokerage getting decent returns can pretty much indefinitely fund 11 months of “vacation” a year in one of these countries without touching the principal. Money in retirement accounts can just be left alone compounding interest free…maybe I’d want to come back when I’m 55 and could pull it out penalty free. To rub a little salt in the wound for all the brain dead idiots who want the government to hold their hand through life…I’d qualify for a heavy health insurance subsidy since I’d be low income. There would be people here working 40-50 hours a week at a 50-60k a year job subsidizing my health insurance while I work 0 hours a week and spend most of my time abroad…and people can’t figure out what the f~~~ is wrong with this country.

I think I’d make a facebook account if I end up doing that…that way I can friend every post wall slut I’ve ever met, and every time one of them cries “Where have all the good men gone” I can send them a picture of me on a tropical beach in Ecuador or Costa Rica.

OMG. I can’t believe what I just saw. How are those girls going to turn out?

Did anyone else notice that they are using feminism to make a profit? How can men make money off of feminism? That would be poetic justice?

Amen. Consider yourself signed up. We who live in the First World have a huge advantage. That advantage is known as geographic arbitrage; the U.S. dollar can go 3-5x further in those countries!

And it’s a more enjoyable life you know?
Just picture this for a moment:

You wake up at 8:30am in your 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, fully furnished, beachfront Villa off the coast in Thailand. The door-sized windows are open, and the beautiful breeze just enters the room. Total cost: $400/month.

You get up, grab a copy of the book you like, and walk outside the house to get custom-order eggs for breakfast from the street vendor. Total cost: $1.

You then retire to the hammock that you have fixed between the trees, and just relax on it, reading your book, and looking out on the ocean.

Around 11am, you decide to go into town for lunch with a friend. All you can eat cuisine. Any food you want. Total cost: $6.

Over the afternoon, you work on your goals for the day. Want to explore some of the city? Go for it. Want to go to a co-working space and work on a business idea? They serve tea and refreshments while you’re brainstorming! Total Cost: $20 (this is a LARGE budget but then again we’re kings)

Evening, you go to dinner with some buddies again, maybe a party in one of the clubs in the city. Cost? $10.

How awesome does this lifestyle sound to you? And it only costs $1.5K/month. So not even $20K! For $18,000 a year, this lifestyle is yours.

If this country keeps going down the s~~~ter like it has been I’ll be pulling the plug sometimes between 35-40 and enjoying 25-30 years of leisure time in foreign countries before most of my peers can even think about retiring.

Even if the country doesn’t go down the s~~~ter, I highly recommend you travel and enjoy 25-30 years of leisure time!

You know something? You and I have a huge advantage. We have rejected the “Life Script” of getting into tons of debt, consumerism, lifestyle inflation, etc. That’s why we can achieve financial independence at an early age and ENJOY our lives while we’re young. Many people won’t get there because they want the latest and greatest expenditures to keep up with the Joneses. It’s okay bro- I’ll see you in Thailand!

500k in a post tax brokerage getting decent returns can pretty much indefinitely fund 11 months of “vacation” a year in one of these countries without touching the principal.

According to the 4% rule, this is correct! And let’s keep in mind- the 4% rule is still fairly conservative. In many of the retirement situations, you’d actually end up dying with substantially more wealth than you started with i.e. you could have withdrawn more than 4%.

Money in retirement accounts can just be left alone compounding interest free…maybe I’d want to come back when I’m 55 and could pull it out penalty free.

This is beautiful. Exactly! And if you are short for cash, you can do a backdoor conversion and take out as much as you want without paying penalties on it before age 59.5.

I wouldn’t even rely on healthcare in the U.S. Do you know how much we over treat people? First World Healthcare isn’t all it’s claimed to be. Negligence, medical malpractice, etc. are terrible here. You can get JUST AS GOOD, if not BETTER healthcare in countries like Spain, Germany, France, and Thailand for a FRACTION of the cost of American healthcare. I wouldn’t even pay for a health insurance plan in the U.S.

I think I’d make a facebook account if I end up doing that…that way I can friend every post wall slut I’ve ever met, and every time one of them cries “Where have all the good men gone” I can send them a picture of me on a tropical beach in Ecuador or Costa Rica.

You left out the best part. For probably like 10 bucks I could legally f~~~ a gorgeous, young, fit prostitute. Its cheaper than American landwhale pussy, probably a lower rate of disease, and I don’t have to put up with her dramatic bulls~~~ or have a relationship with her, and hell, I don’t even have to try to please her since its her job to please me lol. Maybe I’d tip her an extra dollar if she made me breakfast on her way out.

That’s right single post wall women…having foreign prostitutes in my future is more appealing than having you in my future!

I’ve worked with quite a few Africans and most don’t get our culture either. Countries like Kenya have a good standard of living for relatively inexpensive cost and the women (yes I said women) know how to treat a man.
I still believe we are near a tipping point for some sort of catastrophe here in the West, either financial, biological or natural that will bring things back to the way they were. I don’t know if other MGTOW’s practice survival skills just in case but I do think it’s a good idea because when the s~~~ hits the fan and the government is overwhelmed
we need to take care of our selves. All political correctness will be gone, justice will flow from the barrell of a gun and womin will learn how to suck c~~~ again as they ally themselves with the strongest leader.

I still believe we are near a tipping point for some sort of catastrophe here in the West, either financial, biological or natural that will bring things back to the way they were.

I see a financial melt down on the horizon. Our government loves to subsidize people for making poor choices. Once we breach the point where we have more people taking out of the system then paying in, which I believe we are currently very close too, we will see a rapid decline of this nation.

Here are a few interesting quotes from Alexis De Tocqueville made nearly 200 years ago which pretty much sum up what will probably be the decline of America over the next 20 years.

“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.”

“Americans are so enamored of equality, they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.”

It probably won’t be a rapid collapse of the system…just a continuation of our cost of living continuing to out pace our wage growth, which will be compounded when eventually taxes are going to have to go up to support our massive and growing debt, and our government doesn’t seem to be able to come up with a credible plan to get our deficit back to a surplus and start digging out.

Its amazing some guy 200 years ago could predict what would kill America and people today that are living in the midst of the decline are too ignorant to realize what is going on around them. I really hope things start to turn around soon, but in the mean time I’d encourage everyone to have an exit strategy in mind. Better safe than sorry.

I’ve worked with quite a few Africans and most don’t get our culture either. Countries like Kenya have a good standard of living for relatively inexpensive cost and the women (yes I said women) know how to treat a man.

I think probably a major difference is women here claim to want equality with men, but in the eyes of the law they are given superiority. Affirmative action is one such example, or jobs with physical standards being lowered for women. I think watching others get preferential treatment from the government really turns a lot of people sour on the system, and it seems like those that do get granted special privileges always want to demand more.

If we didn’t have so much legislation giving special privileges to everything but single white men, and we didn’t have so much legislation that rewarded f~~~ing up, women here would probably treat men a lot better as well as they’d be forced back to the reality that women and men are not equals, but rather that men and women come with their own set of strengths and weaknesses, and they’d be better off living to their strengths rather then the government propping them up to excel, and propping them up if they fail.

In other words men in Kenya probably offer their women a much better quality of life than the government does so its in the woman’s best interest to keep her man unless she wants to fend for herself…and that doesn’t really seem to be the case here in America anymore.

Not sure if serious. You have rejected consumerism by paying $1 for 50 cents worth of eggs?

What I am describing in that post is the lifestyle I intend to follow after having achieved Financial Independence/Retired Early (FI/RE).

To get there, yes I will reject consumerism. I did not cite what I plan to do everyday while I am FI/RE as anti-consumerist. Hell, I planned to spend $20 every afternoon on random things…..that’s pretty consumerist if you ask me.

But my point is that I will resist consumerism and lifestyle inflation HERE in the U.S.A. to boost my savings rate; I’ll be commanding a six-figure salary, and I intend to stick to my 10-year old used car. Right now, I prepare nearly all my meals at home (and do a pretty decent job at it). I bike to school etc. etc.

Saying that I will pay $1 for custom-order eggs (which by the way you can’t get $1 custom-order eggs in the U.S.) was not intended to be an example of rejecting consumerism.

    Hope this makes it clear.
