So the long awaited emancipation date for my son arrived. He turned 23 and is still a full time student. I stopped sending the ex bi-weekly child support checks 3 weeks ago. She texts me “I was just wondering if u stopped the cs checks”. I advised her that our son is emancipated and child support is over. Apparently, she thought I was required to keep paying as long as son was a full time student and was banking on it. Stupid c~~~.

She went on to ask me why I had to be so “mechanical” and how she used the money to pay son’s bills, and that I should be ashamed of myself for having taken some vacations with girlfriend over the past 8 years.

I paid $258,421 for child support over 9.5 years. This in addition to getting half the assets. My ex is the prototypical psycho c~~~ that had baby rabies, cut off sex with me during the marriage, monkey branched to chad(s) and divorced raped me.

I still need to navigate rough waters to avoid/minimize alimony now.

I’m one year (out of nine) into paying child support payments and the ex-wife has already whined about “How is she going to cope once the child support payments stop and that the daughter needs it etc…”.

I told her that in the event my daughter needs money once the child support payments have stopped that I would be giving it directly to her not to her mother. Did not go down well, greedy bitch.

It is amazing to me whenever I hear of a young man who is naive and fool enough to still fall into the trap. I regret that I had no mentor in my life 30 years ago to knock some sense into me. I made every mistake that a young man could make. I hope to mentor some young guys to avoid the mistakes I made. It will be a form of volunteerism for me.

MG-tower, Your comment is spot on as usual. This woman had it made. Nice house, all bills paid, new car every 5 years. She only worked part time for grocery money and spending cash. She had no concept of saving money for the future, budgeting, and being thrifty. I was blue pill and prioritized trying to make her happy every day. But to her, I was controlling with money and this somehow justified the cut off of sex and the monkey branching to chad. It is unbelievable what I have paid in my lifetime for a few years of getting pussy in between her 10 day rag cycles.

I believe I have been a stand up guy. I have helped my son directly with buying his first car and with over $10k for college costs. I will never know how much my son actually received from the child support payments. Make no mistake, the ex was the primary beneficiary. Since making her mortgage payment was part of my child support, imagine how I felt knowing I was paying for Chad’s housing expenses when he moved in with her. No matter, D-Day finally came for her. I now see her for what she actually is and my life has much improved with her out.

If my son asks for help, I intend to be there for him.
