    How about “no fault marriage.”
Say the laydee earns $40k a year and the man $80k.
The higher earner only puts into the marriage an amount equal to the earner of less.
So She puts in $40k(I know, dream on) and he puts in $40k and puts the rest in an offshore account, for his own use after the divorce, untouchable by her(more dream on).

Marriage rates would plummet if divorce courts only recognized community property as property put into accounts/investments/properties legally owned by both parties. For example if I married and divorced, but my checking account, brokerage, and 401k were in my name only and the house was bought in both our names, the only asset on the table would be the house.

Then again I’m not really sure if this would just be the final nail in the coffin for marriage, as it would make wealth extraction from beta bucks even harder so taking a few years off the carousel to marry/divorce rape a good wallet may not be rewarding at that point as just staying on the carousel full time.

Is that John Travolta? I would recognize that chin anywhere. He was good in “Hairspray” but it looks like he’s lost weight since then.
