I think this was meant to be an attack or a claim of alleged “misogyny,” but I find it outright hilarious. People can’t stand when movies are made for men. This is why the prequel trilogy has so much Queen Amidala/Padme dialogue, and I imagine Rey will be the main star of the new sequel trilogy coming out.
I think this is the principle reason why it’s such a good movie……
Damn that’s awesome. I always knew I liked the original trilogy the best, now I understand why. I’m barely excited for the new movies. I have a feeling it’s gonna just keep going downhill.
Not my property... Not my problem
well, they’re war movies and generally speaking women don’t fight in wars. Look at Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, Apocolypse Now, etc and same thing. Not many lines for women. If women want more speaking roles in war movies, start fighting in some wars.
I bathe in the tears of single moms.
I just watch ed Full Metal Jacket last night. I think the only two lines from a woman were Too Bookoo and Shoot Me.
Great movie!!
Order the good wine

Don’t forget about the Vietnamese prostitute.
Anonymous24I am old school. Empire is my favorite movie of all time. Kinda helps I watched it for the first time at the age of 11. The last 3 that were put out I watched each once. Did not like em much at all. When Vader is a guy who’s ass I feel I can kick IRL they lost me forever. Now that Disney owns the franchise I will not be watching any of them. Period.

Agreed. I think the movie Gettysburg is another perfect example of this. Despite the movie being about 271 minutes long, there was only one line spoken by a woman who happened to be a nameless character. It’s a bit contradictory I think how feminists complain about women not having many speaking roles in war movies, but then go on to argue that there would never be any wars if women were in charge.
For the first 2 Star Wars movies, Princess Leia was a real Princess Bitch. I don’t know how Han Solo ever fell for her after all the mean things she said and did to him.
