It happened twice in few couple of months. I was with my guys in a pub. When Im out I dont flirt, I dont check bitches out (well from time to time if she is really hot), and i dont start conversations if you are not a friend of mine.

First time: i have noticed that some girl was checking me out from time to time while i was having conversation with friends. I didnt flirt back or anything because i have been monk for quite a while now. So im not interested to change that (yet). I was there in a pub for couple of hours. As soon as I left this girl’s girl friend came over to my friends and asked for my FB contact. The next morning she sent friend request. I accepted her request and story ends there.

Last Saturday I was in the same pub and some waitress asked my friend who was ordering, who am I (he told me afterwards). The next day… same story… FB request… (nothing form me except of accepting request).. next day she liked my profile picture…(nothing from me) and that was it… I dont care at all so the story will end there once again.

What Im trying to say is that even when they are interested they still expect you to initiate, start conversation, ask for a date… I dont have time… correction – I dont have time FOR THAT. Monk mode on.

I was in a bar a couple weeks ago, just chilling and playing some video trivia…drinking a beer. There was a gaggle of hens at the back, sitting at a table, whooping it up and calling attention to themselves. I ignored them and did my thing. After about a half an hour, one of them saddles up to the bar right next to me. I knew what was coming: ran the scenarios and made my decision in a nano second. She asked the bartender for something, I was deliberately ignoring her, playing my game. She was post wall, 40’ish, trying to hard to hang on to her pre-wall days. Next thing she does is look over my way, standing intimately close to me, and she says “Hey ya…buy a pretty lady a drink”? I said “Hell yea”! Then I turned to her, smiled and said “As soon as one walks in”.

I could see the bartenders face in my peripheral: He got this “Oh S~~~” look on his face. Her face went from coquettish, batting her eyelashes to….Satan’s own spawn! I just looked back at my trivia game and said out loud “Capital of Sweden”? “Stockholm”!! I win! She slinked away back to her bitches, I spent the next ten minutes finishing my drink. I could feel the daggers coming from this whole table of t~~~s! I remember thinking “Thats for every drink you trolled from some poor sucker who you never intended to give the time of day too”.

Facebook did actually have an outage a few weeks ago. No doubt there was an uptick in calls to therapists at the same time.
