At the last few Football World Cups the local council forbid us to have a England flag attached to our Taxis, in case it offended foreign passengers. Of course there was no problem with foreign people waving their flags. Just us English people in our own country were not allowed.
My friend who works in a London council, where he happens to be the only English person in his department, is no longer allowed to have a Christmas party. It has been renamed to a festive feast. Also no Christmas cards with a religious scene.

This train terminates here.” The railway franchisee were told they had to change the announcement as a woman complained about the word “terminates” because she regretted having a recent abortion. Those people made me vomit. I don’t come into someones house and p~~~ on the carpet, don’t tread on my flag. It means something to me. Yes, they have the right to protest, free speech, and burn the flag. It’s about manners. Hosts have responsibilities, so do guests.
