Even In The Absence Of Money/Currency and Wealth: Hypergamy Would Still Exist

If a social experiment could be conducted, like sending 1,000 men and 1,000 women all to another habitable planet where modern financial systems did not exist and their was an abundance of every possible thing a person could need to survive (food, natural resources, etc). . . .

Hypergamy would still exist, since it is never really about the money, status and/or other objects of wealth alone.

Women are just naturally inherent to always be hypergamous and the types of things that influence hypergamy are almost irrelevant.

In a world or society where money/currency did not exist and there was a suitable supply of other resources to sustain life, women would still be hypergamous but base their hympergamy on numerous other things. And with that being said, those things might not even have objective value but be perceived subjectively, influenced by social factors and/or just be the result of random and fluctuating emotions.

Basically, hypergamy stems from always thinking of and wanting a better deal and more importantly assuming that one is out there. In addition to one c~~~ never really being able to satisfy a woman on a sexual, psychological and emotional level. Their inherent need for more than one c~~~ (while maintaining a primary relationship) or just transitioning from one c~~~ to another exists independent of any financial system or means of exchange involving money, wealth and assets.

In the absence of money, their default fall back criteria might be physical/aesthetic only or a combination of that and other male traits. They might be drawn to a guy that has more social status and power over a collective group (once again in the absence of money being used in that society) or a guy that seems intelligent and has a lot of respect from others within the group (hive mentality) or they might be drawn to great poets, philosophers and gurus.

Removing money from the equation only forces a woman to shift her hypergamous nature to some other aspect of a guy that she determines to be ‘better’ than the one she is with. The behavior is and will always remain the same. And the lack of empathy and remorse when devaluing and discarding one c~~~ for another will remain consistent.

Currency is a symbolic representation of stored labor.

Women want currency because it can be traded for goods and services and they don’t want to expend their own labor to get it.

Women want to get goods and services for as little labor as possible… the existence of an intermediary method of storing labor is irrelevant.

Hypergamy isn’t about women wanting to get goods and services without expending labor… that’s just called lazy or entitled or being a s~~~ty person. Hypergamy is when a woman is ALREADY GETTING goods and services from someone for little or no labor and then desire to find someone else to give them EVEN MORE goods and services for little or no labor.

Again, the existence of an intermediary method of storing labor is and always has been irrelevant.

From my observations, women’s wants and hypergamy morph with the environment.

If they are at work, they want to f~~~ the CEO

If they are at a gig, they want to f~~~ the band’s frontman (or anyone in the band)

If they are watching a football game, they want to f~~~ anyone on the field

If they are at college, they want to f~~~ the professor

If they are on a movie set, they want to f~~~ the leading-man

If they are in therapy, they want to f~~~ the therapist

If they are a nurse, they want to f~~~ the doctor

If they are at a club, they want to f~~~ the bouncers

And so on, and so on. You get the picture.

Hypergamy has little to do with $$. It’s about moving up a rung on the ladder — any ladder. The Fame ladder. The social status ladder. The zip code ladder. The victim ladder. The attention ladder. The [pick your name] ladder. The financial ladder is just one of many.
I like Son of R’lyeh’s explanation that money simply represents “stored labor.” Money is merely a tool to get goods & services you want or need. Much like vagina.

The only difference between your point of view and mine is that I believe the things you mentioned… fame, status, location, attention… all lead back to economics. I see the world through this single lens and believe that (generally speaking) everything women do, they do to secure protection and provision.

If there’s anything of value, women are after it. That could be food, a man’s ability to obtain food, shelter ect. Women are a leech no matter what.
