Something has been on my mind lately.
Apparently, I’ve been seeing some people (I don’t know how many, but some) who are deciding not to buy Konami’s products anymore, including MGS V, because they’re putting microtransactions in the game and Konami’s transition into gambling, mobile platforms, trading cards and slow machines. Could we at least give the game a chance when it comes out? To see if the game is s~~~ or not or if microtransactions hinder the experience in playing and enjoying the game? The microtransactions are also cosmetic too, the developers even stated that. Just don’t buy them. Companies would keep doing it, but that doesn’t mean you have to buy them. And people would still buy them anyway because some of them still have the money to.
I watched AlphaOmegaSin’s video and I was wondering why he’s judging the game months before release. He was willing to buy Batman: Arkham Knight from Warner Bros., and there was that $40 season pass that came with it, but not this game? Seems hypocritical.
If you weren’t planning on getting it in the first place, that’s fine, but these reasons are just…nonsensical to me.
I know this is coming from sort of a Metal Gear fan, but at least give it a chance like any other game.
You could count the new Yu-Gi-Oh! game and Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 in this too, but personally, I had no interest in those types of games.
I think Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain should be given a fair chance like any other game. This is most likely the last Konami game I’ll be getting if Konami keeps taking the path they’re taking.
I would simply because I’m a completionist. Would I support Konami anymore? Only if they produce some new Castlevania platformers.
Definately buying MGS 100%.
Personally, i love mgs and games in general. I’m still yet to go next gen though as these “micro transactions” and hidden charges and endless upgrades to me at least are a p~~~ take.
Add to that gamergate and the feminist regime hellbent on ruining yet more “man pleasures” and it does make me reluctant to sign up.
mgs 1 for me was the best. After that the endless cut scenes in the later games done me head in..
mgsv Does look quality though.
I’m still in, but it’s taking a back seat to my SSBM training. I intend on buying it, no preorder BS, as cheap as possible.
