Establishing a Universe

Recently, I’ve let my imagination flow and gotten creative with some story ideas, there’s one that has been stuck in my head for some time, and I thought I’d share it here to see your thoughts on it, so scroll down, here goes.

It is the year 2200, 180 years after the Great Schism. This event was one that changed the ways that humanity was governed. In the year 2020, Politicians saw that no matter what they tried, they could not keep everyone happy, as such, The United Nations gathered, and decided to set in motion a plan. Over time, Countries would cease to be recognized, and instead of nations, people divided themselves into their ideologies. Worldwide, humanity split, as all gathered into their niches and belief systems and began to build their own versions of a Utopia. The largest groups to emerge, were the Old-order, comprised of politicians and their most loyal subjects, running in their old ways, and the Communists, forged by a variety of people brought together by their disdain for the Rich and powerful, and believing they could create a world where all could be equal. Splinter groups soon emerged, the Free-Marketers, established themselves as an Anarchist group, and once a universal form of currency was established, traded with each other and other settlements free from the burden of Tax. Radical Feminists soon became “The Matriarchs”, and established a Matriarchal society, where they held complete control over their men. The Christians of the world soon banded together, forming a single group, known as “The Lord’s Children”, as Muslims worldwide gathered to form a Group known as “The Chosen of Allah”. By 2020, A large number of Men had come together as MGTOW, and after the Schism, became known as “The Brethren”. They grew themselves a small empire, their numbers often swelled by men who had deserted The Matriarchs. As well as these Groups, many more would continue to surface. For a time, all lived in harmony, but as the Empires grew, the need for land would force them to war. The first shots were fired Between the Old-order and the Communists in 2195, since then, the two have fought with no end in sight, the war having been Christened “The War of the Ancients” as the two ideologies have been opposed since time immemorial. But, it is not the only war, Other ideologies seek their own conquests, some for economy, some for faith, some merely to defend themselves. These wars now encompass earth, and in order for them to end, it would require the complete domination of one ideology, and the submission of all others.
