One thing I have a hard time wrapping my head around is- why does sex cost so much?

I mean think about it like this- prostitution has one of the lowest barriers to entry…pretty much any female can do it. Shouldn’t the profession be getting saturated and prostitutes be undercutting each other for business?

$100/hr seems so expensive. $25/hr seems to be more reasonable. Heck, highly trained paramedics only make $15/hr in the U.S.

Thanks for the info, I have heard from close friends that Backpage is full of a bunch of skanks with head to toe tattoo’s. I hear they post false pictures of themselves. I have heard that they will put a picture up of someone that looks like Selena Gomez but when you actually get there its Rosanne Barr. Called bait and switch. I’ve been struggling with this temptation for years. I have the means to afford “high class” (oxymoron) escorts on a regular basis.
