Like many of you I am found of gaming. However, I’m generally turned off by online or competitive play. I play to escape and experience life in a way that would otherwise be impossible. Case in point Firewatch. A minimal UI in an immersive environment with an ongoing narrative. The twine at the beginning may be off putting to some or somewhat relatable to others.
Of the games you play, what has sucked you in the most?
I play world of tanks. It is historically accurate and doesn’t involve killing people like a typical 1st person shooter.
Love is just alimony waiting to happen. Visit mgtow.com.
Anonymous6You ever play the Homeworld series? Immersive strategy game with very nice graphics.

I’ve heard of World of Tanks but never actually tried it. How’s the community? Is it something constructive where people work together or do you get a bit of that anonymity shield factor?

It just happens to by 50% off thanks to the steam summer sale right now. Are you referencing the remastered version or the one that came out earlier this year?

Probably Skyrim.
I’ve spent a good deal of time with a few different Bethesda titles. They can suck you in like none other. The exception to that list being Fallout 4.

All of them.
Right now I’m into XCOM 2. I love the idea of guerrilla warfare, and fighting an enemy that is stronger than you, only to outwit them and attack their weak points.
Brother, we need to stick together.
It seems most of you guys enjoy games that revolve around combat in some way. Anyone have experience to recommend with adventure or story driven games?

XCOM, the game that taught me to not believe in percentages. About the same time I picked that up I got into Running With Rifles. Ever tried it? You can put yourself in a no win situation and the only way out is through clever tactics and skill.

Yep.
I also like the Witcher 3 and found that to be pretty immersive.
Courage is the key to life itself - Morgan Freeman
DCS World.

Sometimes you get people who want to play as a team, but in co-op and even in ranked, most people are only looking out for themselves.
Don’t buy any DLC either.
