#EqualPayAct is a trending topic on Twitter (about the 1963 U.S. law that prohibits employers from discriminating against employees by paying them a lower wage based on sex.)

I believe the complaint that white men are making more money than everyone else is based on resentment. Those that complain about a gender pay gap seldom try to understanding the reason for the data of labor statistics. The U.S. Census and Bureau of Labor Statistics have presented data that can be interpreted as “racist” or “sexist” by politicians and social justice warriors.

Right now there are more women going to college than men, Asian American workers are steadily closing the pay gap between white men, and large numbers of white men—particularly Baby Boomers—are leaving the workforce. That means we won’t have to worry about the supposed “salary oppression” in the near future.

Plain and simple: most men and women are able to make a decent salary in the USA if they do the following: get some some kind of certificate or degree beyond high school for a job that is in demand, work long hours, put a lot of effort into being productive, and don’t have children (or at least wait until they are in a position to negotiate time off for having a baby and still maintain their salary and bonuses). The fact is: you get paid what people think you’re worth. If you have the talent, ability, charisma, specialized knowledge or whatever it takes to make/sell a product or service for your boss, you can demand a pay raise, or take your talents to someone who will give you a higher salary. If you don’t like it: be homeless or create a communist country.

I am wondering if anyone has asked how they determine someone to be “white”.

STEM careers pay more than school teachers and journalists and womens studies majors.

Women do not want to put the work in to get STEM degrees. Women marry men with STEM degrees because it is incredibly easy and fast, in comparison to doing the work and studying hard subjects with objective answers.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

My understanding of the Femifascist’s argument is that because a lot of women take time off work for raising children that over the course of their work life they make less money than men.

That is like saying that if a man hurts himself (non work related) and has to take time off work long term than he should be compensated because he is no longer going to make the same as a man who is constantly employed.

We had a woman at work who was promoted into a position ahead of everyone else, didn’t like the role because it was below her. Managed to be shifted into something else not long after that went on maternity leave men doing her job in the meantime. Came back from leave only to leave again for more maternity leave. Then comes back does little and gets promoted into a different role altogether.

Sucks to be female.

Equal pay act was another nail in the coffin of equality. Women get paid the same for the same job when we all know they don’t do it as well for as long as men do.

When I was working down in California, we had a woman go around and wire all the racks. She could not do the job if it was not printed out for her.

Non of the stuff that was OUTSIDE of SEE THIS PUT THIS S~~~ HERE. When it came to anything else, it never worked.

Then I had to come in. FIX all of it, and not get paid for it.

F~~~ that s~~~. And she was getting like $35 bucks and hour to do it. AND OVERTIME.

SCREW THAT S~~~. And here I am making less then 15 bucks an hour.
