Like most people, my life (mind) spun out of control and I ended up on the ‘MEDS’. Apparently, this is the go to solution for everything. I went through the process of taking this one and that one and while they worked there were the weird side effects. I remember one pill had me ‘grinning away’ all time like some damn idiot.
I found the problem with the pills two fold. 1) They are not 100% effective, I still had days where things where ‘kinda crazy’. (I am not going to go in to that.) And 2) Taking meds can turn into a lifelong requirement.
I saw the movie ‘A Beautiful Mind’ and decided if John Nash can pull back from his psychosis, as difficult as it was, I should be able to work through mine without the meds also. Sometimes things are touch and go for me. I have days where things are totally whack and I can’t really accomplish anything. But the days when things are working out for me are way better than walking around in a ‘daze’ on meds.
I don’t recommend this for anybody else, but I am glad I made that choice.

If you have depression best thing is to reduce stress and weight loss.

Meds? There’s like a billion different chemical compounds throughout the pharmaceutical industry….. ʞɔnuɐƆʎzɐɹƆ has things right-side-up here! I must agree, a billion pills can’t reduce stress or get your blood pumping (properly)or add one single gram of happiness…..
Thanks, I also have a problem with imagining things that are not happening as real.

Pills are all about trying to chemically balance the brain. Try eating fruits and vegetables and eating fermented foods like kimchi, homemade kefir, etc.

I don’t understand your response. I was making a joke about how women are delusional. But I’m interested to hear more..Are you stating that you actually have hallucinations? I’m just confused, but intrigued

https://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/201110/your-backup-brainI agree. Felix, whatever the solution to your health problem is, the problem itself is not caused by a lack of drugs in your bloodstream. On the other hand, a nutritional deficiency actually can cause symptoms that are identical to psychological problems. A really good diet can not do you any harm, and just might do a lot of good.
That said, hallucinations are not something to be dismissed lightly. Good luck and my best wishes, it sounds like you have a tough row to hoe.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
For the record: Things never got so bad that I was actually talking to non-existent people.

KM: Will you please change the ‘most’ to ‘many’. That was a really poor choice for a word to start my topic.

Stimulant medications can produce hallucination and can have a long term effect after the pills are stopped.
