hey guys , i enjoy a few drinks now and then , i got a few tips to share and am open to get some back.. ok , always have food in stomache BEFORE and during drinking ……. finish evening with a teaspoon of baking soda in 8 oz. water……. purchase DYHYDROMYRYCIN  , ( spellcheck ! ) online , it works wonders to minimize hangovers,……. get ” milk thistle”  to protect your liver ……get l-cysteine to help break down alcohol ( naturally occurs in egg yolks) …….try to include as much water as you can DURING consuming alcohol …………NEVER mix drinks..stick with one , no combining different drinks…………….stay away from sweet/sugary drinks….. next morning a bacon, egg and cheese is outstanding to give back to your body what it lost , also  coconut water , high in electrolytes ……. a multi-vitamin as well….    pumpkin seed oil in capsules  help protect the prostate ,…..as will cod liver oil capsules ……… and try 8 oz of un-sweetened soy milk .COLD  ( again think prostate health ) ………..WHOLE fat yogurt ( the greek kind is awesome ! )  or an active culture supplement .( easier to keep around )………aspirin , NEVER tylenol ! tylenol will kill your liver !…… ……. while drinking , choose if possible carbs, and cheese..white cheddar can be eaten AFTER you brush your teeth and wont promote  plaque in your mouth….. for the best dental health check out ”  OIL PULLING  ” on you-tube..i use safflower oil  and also coconut oil …… thanks to all here.. hope this helps !

Wow you really know your stuff!

    My major rules of thumb:
    sugar+alcohol=headache
    beer and vodka = blackout
    eat lots of food
    drink plenty water next day
drinking the morning after as a cure for hangover – is the fastest way to alcoholism

I became an alcoholic lately, so I am taking a dry break
too bad I can’t enjoy it any longer (the enjoyment is gone), but that’s my own fault
    raising my mug of tea

Good advice. I drink a lot and eating healthy is key. I learn how to drink when I lived in Belarus. When we would drink the food we had with is was just as important as the drink. They have a salty minral water that you start drinking after your done and drink the next day. Good stuff.

First of all, I agree with the all above. Back in my younger days, I drank as much as I could get my hands on. The lustre wore off after I achieved “legal” drinking age, but I never gave it up completely.

My major eye opener was the fallout of a long-term relationship. She sold herself to me as a non-drinker, and the truth is she was an alcoholic.

Red wine has proven health benefits, and white whine (i.e., champagne) less so but it is also beneficial. If it were not for wine, I would not drink alcohol at all. I like beer and distilled spirits, but I do not indulge any more. Like the man said, “I don’t want what I want.”

guys , thanks for the feedback..i also recommend flax-seed oil .. high in omega 3 and 6  ..tumeric in capsule form coupled w extract of black pepper ( or it wont work ) .also ginger powder capsules or fresh ginger boiled and drank alone or w green tea.. sardines in a tin ( skinless and boneless , a little lemon juice mmm ) .the body uses maximum 21mg protein per hour ..as a side note..so power bars are usually around that amount..eat accordingly..
