Very sad that the modern day female has little interest in studying history. Not one knew the interviewer was referring to the right for women to vote – which was guaranteed under the 19th amendment to the US Constitution.
If they spent as much time reading something substantive, instead of digesting modern day media garbage….but never mind. The decline is too far and deep to fix.

Great post Joey, this really shows how ill informed and misguided today’s western women really are. They value celebrity’s opinion instead of doing any critical thinking for themselves.

Also I should note that to my knowledge there has not been one single President Under 5 foot 11 elected since woman were allowed to vote.

In the 1800’s there were 4 or 5. Because men vote on substance and character and ideas.

@pabsawake in my country we had a female president. Why she get so many votes ? Because she was a women. She even was able to speak our mother language correctly !!

She was so corrupt and incompetent, that we almost started a civil war to take her out of the government.

On the topic: I am not for ending women’s suffrage (which will never happen), but I’m for compulsory exam on civics for eligible voters every two years: if you don’t pass – you don’t get to vote

It can be pretty simple, but won’t ever happen. If you paid taxes then you get the priveledge to vote. No taxes no vote. Each and every citizen.

Agreed. As long as the government is allowed to give money to those who pay no taxes, that’s the way it needs to be. I would add though that I would not include sales tax, only income tax. And, that a married couple cannot file jointly. A stay at home mom does not get to vote because her husband works.

When the United States began, you had to be a land owner to vote. That doesn’t really make sense now due to our financial/property structure, but requirement tax payment certainly does.

Ok. Then do it.
