That’s what I always had as a result of helping ONCE. They get the expectation that you are going to do this forever and if you don’t comply then they turn into your enemy, calling you “lazy bum” and stuff like that.

Not letting a one-time help turning into slavery, made me many enemies. But I always gave a s~~~ anyway.

It all helped in staying unc~~~ed, and it was THEIR damage, not mine. THEY didn’t get the chance to leech off of me.

Woman always expect you to work for them for free and if you charge them any money – that means less money for the 122nd pair of shoes, the 74th handbag and other female bulls~~~ – you are actually “hurting” them. They perceive it that way and start to attack you. And they s~~~ talk you behind your back.

Then they are telling their daughters (about you): “If you come home with this outcast asshole, I will kick you both out”…

Unless they are elderly, I refuse to help a woman in any way.

The only time in the last year I have done so, was a 5′ waif of a young Chinese woman who had never seen snow in her entire life…and we had just gotten a nearly 24″ storm. She was in an utter state of panic because the plow asshole literally buried her tiny car, and needed to get to work, even I thought he was a prick for doing it because I would have been stuck if my vehicle weren’t a truck,,.and even at that I had to shovel a little bit out behind me. But I’m not helping her again, she better have learned from that.

As a rule, never help a c~~~ if you can help it. Because at it’s worse you’ll end up getting White Knighted like the two guys on the train in Portland. Why the f~~~ would I want to risk getting killed, because some c~~~ is dumb enough to wear a Hijab in this state of global terrorism??? Never defend a c~~~ if she is a stranger, you can be 100% certain she would never do it for you.

Knowing how to change a tire is a vital motoring skill. When in this sort of situation it’s best to teach her how to change her own tire. And the best teacher is experience. Point out everything she needs: the jack, the wrench, the spare etc. Tell her what to do. Stand back to watch her do it while giving helpful advice to make sure she does it right.

A few weeks ago I helped an elderly lady pump her gas. She was in her 80s and had such crippling arthritis that she could not remove the gas cap. I had no issues helping her.

Yet, if it was some self entitled, independent woman, forget it. She can call a pay for service company – I give enough to her and her brood in taxes and social handouts.

Just the fact that you didn’t walk around and flat another tire or 3 means you did the right thing. 🙂

The last time I offered any help like that was some poor guy on a motorcycle that was stranded at a gas station. I gave him a ride to a parts store to buy a can of flat fix. Felt good about that.

I helped a woman change a tire once. She was a little old black lady. She was at the air pump trying to put air in her tire, but it wouldn’t hold.

I finished pumping my gas, and went to ask if she needed help. She was very appreciative. She said the last time she had to put on the spare, it took her over an hour and she didn’t want to ruin her dress. She was dressed very nicely and said she was on her way to her son’s college graduation party. She was really proud, because this was her fifth (“and last thank Jesus”) of her grown children to graduate college. I took of the flat and put on the spare. She was very grateful and sweet. To thank me, she gave me a piece of one of the cherry pie she made.

It’s kinda funny, but I probably would’ve drove right on off without a second thought if it had been some hot white chick who expects someone to come to her rescue.

Good move OP! Nothing to gain but everything to lose in these situations.
If she is responsible enough to drive her own vehicle, she should be responsible enough to have planned breakdown recovery. Furthermore, once you engage there are a whole host of unknown quantities waiting to bite you in the ass… male company returns.. whole thing is a hustle, (unlikely but not unheard of) …harassment charges, as many have already said… the list goes on.

I worked at a family entertainment center and tried to teach a young girl how to shoot pool. What a mistake. The parents automatically thought I was a pedophile even though I didn’t touch her. I was just showing her how to hold the cue stick. I have never helped anyone since. What a shame. I’ll never help one again just for that reason.
