The first I knew of “emotional support” animals, traveling in the cabin, was last week.

A guy tells me:
– there is this cute dog traveling in the plane, had a seat for himself and all. He was an “emotional support” animal. Of course we called the crew and complained that there was an allergic kid with us…
– I didnt know that. Who is allergic?
– Nobody, but they didn’t know that.
– So, what happened?
– Nothing, they said it was all perfectly legal. We had to present a complaint.
– Did you?
– No, why would I?

THAT is why we are at rock bottom. Not only people are so fragile that they need to be pampered, but they are so entitled as to use serious issues to complicate needlessly life for others.

It values the trivial and devalues the important.

There is something quite chilling in that little tale. If we are to believe that she was weak and flaky and she needed an animal for emotional support and if we believe she also loved the creature as she claimed to, then how was she so cold and cruel to flush it down a toilet instead of let it go, give it to a passing child or pay to fly it as a pet?

It just makes no sense … unless you are a cold heartless bitch that only seeks support but never gives any support to anything and never feels any true loyalty to anything you love, unless you are …a woman.

If a creature looks tasty I will put it in the pot, if it is vermin and hunting it will be fun I will shoot it even if I am not going to eat it but if it is my pet and I come to love it, then it is different. You don’t just dispose of pets that you love when they are inconvenient do you? …Oh yes I suppose women do that all the time with men.

Now I feel a bit chilled.

And our cats only got old because I always took them to the doctor.
