Polls have officially closed in Virginia and it seems like it will come down to the end. It has been raining off and on in Fairfax today, so they had very low turnout in that area.

In my opinion, I think Gillespie will pull off the victory. The MAGA Movement is too strong and it will only get stronger. Their is a political shift in this country that has been happening for the last 6 years and it only seems to be increasing.

Results will be reported here as they are available to make sure you come back to this thread.

Glad you are keeping track of this one—I agree I think if the counties outside of the DC shadow have a good turnout Gillespie is IN.

I hate to use this guy as a source but he’s putting out an interesting exit poll.

Time to cede Fairfax and Arlington Counties to Maryland. We don’t want them anymore!

Welp, Virginia was a long shot anyway.

A few percentage points of winning is very respectable, especially since the national level democrats pulled out the stops and the national level republics did nothing to help.

I can understand why President Trump backed away after he was burned by the whole Luther Strange fiasco. But, the establishment rinos have no excuse except they wanted a democrat to win.

<p dir=”ltr” lang=”en”>Media will try to claim VA was some sort of commentary on Trump. No it wasn’t. Trump lost VA in the General.

I believe is the silver lining. The democrats cannot rightly claim a referendum of President Trump on a state President Trump lost in the general. Will they claim any loses in New York and California to be a referendum on President Trump. Doing so will make the democrats look like fools.

Plus look at the map of Virginia. It’s right next to DC. You could literally walk Quantico if you wanted to. Let’s not forget, there is still a storm brewing and the Dems are still in hot water. Do i need to remind you what happens to Tropical storms once they hit warm water?

The whole DC area is just too crammed with libtard/socialists. Fairfax and Arlington decided this for the whole state. Well VA is f~~~ed. Want to know what they will look like in 10 years–look at CA. (And I’m sure the rinos are delighted)

A lot of events are happening right now. It is hard to keep track.

To be honest, this Virginia race was not on my radar due to lack of help towards the Republican candidate.

This guy as low on the radar of all the places I look for news on the internet. The fact he has had a respectable showing is mildly surprising. Politically it is a defeat, nor a rout.

The numbers tonight show that Virginia is still viable for a nationalist candidate whom can energize the base and reach across the isle, such as President Trump. But, a rino is not going to win in that state.

Yea Trump may be able to get better numbers in 2020. But other than that, i think we can write off VA. They won 11 house seats as well.

Not one republican won in Virginia. The election was hacked. A total fraud in my opinion. This country is done. Run for the hills.
