Hi Fellas,
Been a lurker on MGTOW for months then joined the forum a few weeks ago, thought it was about time I introduced myself. Like most on here I’ve got failed relationships behind me, but haven’t been nailed to a cross like some. Out of pocket certainly, but able to get on with life.
3 years ago my ex-partner decided we should split up: in that same week, I was given 90 days redundancy notice. Nice timing all round. My mum had passed away the previous Christmas but luckily the house hadn’t been sold (something held me back from putting it on the market, call it premonition?) so I was able to move in there. Depressed but determined to rebuild my life, I managed to find a job, and joined a gym. I started seeing a woman on and off until quite recently, and we’re still friends as it happens but once I started taking red pills I realised a full on relationship wasn’t for me any more.
Very shortly after our split, my ex started seeing a younger Chad. Almost certainly she’d already met him while we were still together, but that no longer bothers me, he moved in but I moved on. I get on with him quite well actually, and have to stifle a chuckle when he starts moaning about her…..!
3 years on: I’ve just turned 55 years old. I’m down from a flabby 17 stone to a trim and muscular 14 stone and I’ve never had so much female attention, most of it from young women. When I look at my land whale “ex” now, even though she’s 11 years younger, I just don’t fancy her any more. It’s a great feeling.
I’ve learnt so much from the MGTOW forums, it’s a brilliant resource and hope more men explore it in years to come. Bloody addictive stuff, keep it up!
Anonymous54Welcome El Sid!
I knew the guy that was seeng my first ex wife. We liked each other just fine. I felt bad for him!
Welcome home El Sid. We all have slight variations to the story, but the theme is the same. And congratulations on getting in better shape. Us guys in our 50’s have to get serious about it now.
Order the good wine
Welcome El Sid.
I’m older like you, good to have you on brotha.
When you find yourself in the majority, it's time to reflect.
Welcome El-Sid
Thanks for the intro.Us guys in our 50’s have to get serious about it now.
No kidding. Every time I try to get in shape I blow a gasket. I just got my diaphragm rebuilt 3 weeks ago with bunch of mesh, so in a few more weeks I get to try again. That’s major surgery #5 in 2 years. I’m glad I have MGTOW for that kind of support or I would just give up trying.

Anonymous16Welcome to the front line… Of desertors.
When you see the enemy just go the other way.
Peace.
Welcome brother,it’s funny how women start to notice you when you don’t care about them any more and just about yourself.
Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!
Welcome brother!
That guy who moved in. .is that with you?
Why do you have to see him?
Anonymous0Welcome home, El Sid
Hang around, we have a lot of fun TUNA hunting.Hi Hitman,
Nah, he moved in with her. He basically keeps house for the ex as he’s not working and she’s away on business a lot. My kids still live there so he looks after them as well. He had a s~~~ty ex who stopped him seeing his own kids, so I feel some empathy for him, he treats my kids well so it’s not such a bad situation.
Welcome to the forums, El Sid. I’m in my mid-fifties as well and stay in pretty good shape. Looking forward to more of your posts.
Cheers!
Good to hear El sid…Welcome!
Welcome El Sid! I’m new here too. So far I am enjoying my time. Glad to hear your situation is manageable, and you seem to be doing well.
Welcome El Sid. It’s always good to hear survival stories.
Glad to have you and the rest of us 50+ year olds around. Share more of your wisdom with these young bucks when you get the chance.
When women lead, destruction is the destination. -- Me.
Welcome, El Sid.
Strange isn’t it how women hate their replacements whereas us men feel sympathy for ours!...And in our own despair, against our will, Comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Agamemnon; by Aeschylus
Welcome Sid, always nice to see fellow brits here.
Hello El Sid,
Welcome to the forums and congratulations on getting away from your ex. I’m pretty close to you on the Wirral (unless you mean Cheshire Conneticut). Look forward to seeing you on the forums. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, nice to be among a band of brothers, feels like a homecoming 🙂 Yeah Bobario, I’m in the Cheshire by the Wirral, Runcorn to be precise, where there’s 2 women for every man. Pity it’s the same 2 women, but hey ho….!
