Long-time educator Angela Webb, 50, is accused of having a three year affair with a student at Tulare Western High School in California
Webb, a physical education teacher and volleyball coach at Tulare Union High School, was placed into custody on Friday
Webb has worked at the Tulare school since 1992 and reportedly earned a salary of $133,677.30, including benefits
The school district said that Webb would be placed on leave until the conclusion of the case

The most revealing thing about this article is not that the woman is alleged to have had a sexual relationship with a student, it is the way that she is treated once the allegation was made, she was suspended until the investigation had been completed. Innocent until proven guilty.

By way of contrast, these other cases are all male teachers accused of sexual misconduct with students, the difference here is that they were all sacked shortly after the allegation was made and before any investigation had been completed. Guilty till proven innocent.

Every single man I’ve known in real life went through a no fault divorce, and every single one of them were accused of horrible things in court. All of which were untrue. And yes in their cases it did matter because they had to go to court over and over and over again. Accusations matter. I’ve seen it 1st hand.
