I am being blown away by this year’s E3!

My bank balance it going to take a major hit over the next 6-12months.

Xbox 1 going backwards compatible, Fallout 4, Doom 4, Gears of War 4, Dark Souls 3, Halo 5, Rare Collection, Uncharted 4, Shenmue 3(I must have imagined that one), Last Guardian, Dishonoured 2 and I’m sure I am forgetting more….

Just had Witcher 3 released and Batman is out next week – f~~~ me what a great time to be a gamer!

I loved what Sony had to talk about, but admittedly laughed when they showed they have a female lead for the next Assassin’s Creed…again. Because feminists complained about no female main characters. Despite there being one in the PS Vita one.

Also, Call of Duty: Black Ops OKI now having female characters is such fuel for the “violence against women” wrenches.

E3 was definitely bad for my bank balance this year… So many titles, so little time.

Can anybody say Special Edition Xbox? You won me over again.

It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything

Stupid auto-correct on my phone…I meant Call of Duty: Black Ops III…but I figure everyone knows what I meant. 😛

Don’t forget the Final Fantasy VII remake. I was never the person who desperately cried for a remake, but given how graphics and game play have improved I look forward to seeing FFVIII done with HD graphics on the PS4 plus after Advent Children and all the spin offs, sequels, and prequels came out I always wondered what VII would have looked like with current graphics, game play, and story telling. I was really happy for Dark Souls III as well. That Rare collection looks awesome, but I don’t have an Xbox One and don’t have a reason to get one since any games on Xbox One that I would want are also on PC.

As for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate it looks cool. A few months ago after it was announced that there would be a female assassin some SJW’s were complaining that she was only added for the sake of adding a woman. Just goes to show those people are never happy. Also some SJW’s say Liberations doesn’t count because it was on VITA. I like to think Syndicate has a female because Ubisoft wanted to add the brother sister dynamic.

Even manginas liked this years  E3

Today marks the end of the best E3 in recent memory, and the beginning of a new, healthier era for the big budget sector of the video game industry.

After years of misguided press events that ostracized women, fetishized realistic violence, and promoted video game consoles as practically everything but hardware that plays video games, the companies that dominate E3 have made strides to better respect the medium that pays their bills, along with the people who enjoy and work within it.

For the first time, women appeared on stage in the majority of major press events, and as playable characters in many games. A handful of trailers emphasized that players will have the option to play as women in games like Dishonored 2, FIFA 16, and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The latter franchise made the positive about-face following last E3, when members of the previous Assassin’s Creed development team cited a lack of time and resources as the reason a woman wouldn’t be a playable character in their game.
