At Least Two ‘Dune’ Films Are Being Planned by Denis Villeneuve

    http://www.joblo.com/movie-news/denis-villeneuve-s-dune-remake-will-be-nothing-like-the-david-lynch-film-751
Denis Villeneuve’s Dune remake will be nothing like the David Lynch film

——-A few comments about this,…1st this is one remake that I will not complain about, the movie Dune was good, but no where near the possible outcome it could have been or even the slightest when next to the books.
2nt Only 2 movies??? In order to do it right it needs more.

Given what hollywood does to movies, i wager they screw this up big time. feminize the crap out of it, waif macho women characters, all the crap they do now.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

They’re so out of creativity they’re pumping air into a blown out tire like DUNE DOOM!

They’re so bankrupt on creativity they’re reviving past failures! They should call themselves Dawood, or Yugowood…

It’s a shame we never go to see Alejandro Jodorowsky’s vision for Dune. His storyboarding and concept art influneced many films to follow.

Somehow I have never seen the original DUNE but I just got the book in the mail. I better hurry up and read it before the movie comes out!

I’ve seen almost every Sci Fi ever made but I left one precious classic untouched.

This is what I’m afraid of too…

    – Paul Atreides will be Paula Atreides who has a lesbian fling going on with Chani, and they’ll easily physically overpower men twice their weight
    – the Bene Gesserit will still be ugly (because how dare men look at hot women in movies)
    – the Harkonnen will portray all men in the universe (evil sadistic assholes who need to die)
    – the Fremen are led by women who sit in luxury while the men toil in the desert and throw away their lives to protect the womenfolk
    – the Emperor will be an Empress
    – etc etc

I hope the film makers prove me wrong and stick close to the original, or better: the book.

I can’t wait to see that desert worm creature again.

Dune was a great movie. It had some problems, but still was great. The new Hollyweird version will be terrible, like all their new films are.
