It happened right in front of me.

I live in New Jersey and there was a big comedy show with a handful of well-known comics at the PNC center.
There was a group of people behind us that were super loud and very drunk. I think it was 2 girls and a guy. They were so disrespectful, I could barely hear at some points because they were so f~~~ing loud. I wanted to say something, but I chose not to just because everyone was high, drunk, or both, the security was a bunch of shmucks, and it probably would have made things worse. Mid-show they take a 20 minute break, and me, my friend, and his brother are standing on this hill outside of the seating area where we had lawn chairs set up. It was very packed and the obnoxious people were right behind us. Out of the corner of my eye I see the one very drunk woman reach forward then fall back into her chair giggling. I couldn’t tell what happened, but my friend’s brother looked kind of embarrassed and I put 2 and 2 together quickly. I said “Did she just grab your butt?” and he nods kind of ashamed.

This bitch grabbed his ass, falls into her chair laughing and says, “I’m sorry!! I just couldn’t help it! It was right there in front of me!” I drop a simple “that’s seriuosly inappropriate” and leave it at that. It didn’t happen to me so I wanted to let him handle it the way he wanted to, even if it was by ignoring the whole situation all together. I wanted to let her have it, and I guess I could have, but like I said, it was his problem to handle his way. They were wasted as f~~~ so it would have either ended in the guy white knighting because of what I would have said, leading to a fight, or her trying to bitch back at me.. I don’t know, maybe it could’ve been fun.

Anyway, this to me sums up the whole relationship between men and women right now. My friend’s brother was so afraid to react because I’m sure he is aware of the way women are protected in today’s society. If she grabs his ass it’s funny, but if someone grabbed her ass, she would lose her s~~~ and he would be a registered f~~~ing sex offender.

What was funny was they were talking very loudly before this and they were talking about how the one woman is single and doesn’t know why. How f~~~ing stupid are these bitches? Drunk off your ass straight up embarrassing yourself in front of hundreds, if not thousands, of people, has no clue how to behave like a competent human being, and you don’t know why you’re single? I feel great just knowing this bitch is lonely and depressed with her cats at home, and has to be a third-wheel with her friends and get completely trashed just to get away from her s~~~ty life for one night. That is good enough revenge for me.

Also, one of the comedians was Amy Schumer, the girl from that movie Trainwreck, she plays herself (a boring tramp). All the ugly sluts were screaming for her when she came out on stage.

I didn’t even chuckle once, such a bad comedian.

P.S. If anyone was wondering where I’ve been the last few weeks (I’m sure nobody actually noticed) I was on a badass roadtrip around america, drove over 8,000 miles and saw some national parks in utah and wyoming. It was fantastic.

I welcome your opinions on this subject! Should I have said something? Should I have ripper her up verbally and embarrassed her publicly? Did I do the right thing and keep quiet? Let me know your overall opinion so I can make the right decision the next time! I’ve never been in a situation this absurd before, so I reacted the way I thought best off the cuff.

    Clint:

I think you did the right thing, At the end of day, it wasn’t that big a deal and it wasn’t done to you. You are fine and posting here tonight, so no long term damage done. Screw it, I just hope some of the other comedians were better! And, your trip sounds like a blast.

You did the right thing by keeping your mouth shut. You didn’t describe what she looked like, but in my experiences any unknown female that has ever grabbed my ass uninvited has not exactly been a looker.

Such a fine example of an American woman she was.

@chauvinistpig Kinda chubby, average at best. They have to get attention somehow… It certainly isn’t happening because of her personality or her looks.

In all honesty, if the girl was hot (which you say she wasn’t), I would have just laughed and probably have been flattered. If the girl was average looking at best, I might still be okay with it. But if she was kinda chubby I would probably have said something rude. I wouldn’t have made a federal case out of it but I would have said something rude to her. Especially since her and her friends were loud and annoying behind you in the place.

This is why I don’t go out much. I can’t tolerate people.

That’s cool about the 8k mile trip around the US. I would love to do something like that. I love road trips but never did one huge like that! Most I ever drove round trip was 3200 miles.

If you don’t mind the driving, totally worth it. So many amazing things to see!

It’s just the fact that she can get away with that, but if a man did that to her you know she would be insulted, embarrassed, and making a big scene about it. It’s totally unacceptable to do that to a woman, but to a man nobody cares. If I brought it up to security, they would probably laugh at me.

It doesn’t necessarily bother me that much personally, but it’s the way society views it that bothers me. Double standards and what-not.

There’s an old saying: give someone enough rope and they will hang themselves. You just let out a little more rope for her. Maybe next time she is drunk and high in public she’ll grab the ass of an off duty cop. You just let her take a withdraw out of her karma bank.

And if a guy complained hed be called “gay” or some s~~~, which is why you, youre friend any every other male would instinctively let it roll off of their shoulders.

This reminds me of the girl I popped my cherry to. Married chick. Wed f~~~ around in her SUV before/after class in junior college. Wed be physical, and one time she drives me over to my car just after were f~~~ing around. She doesnt even look over at me, say goodebye, nothing but exerts ” Get out!”

She loved the sex, but was projecting her own pent up resentment and treating ME the way her husband treated her. I treated her like an angel, being she was my first. She was a Complete F~~~ing C~~~. Treated me like some disposable piece of meat. I told her this and the look on her face was “your a GUY!” Wish I never treated her so well. Live and learn.

Today, with age, I wouldnt mind so much. But that would only be the consequence of me not being emotional with the girl or taking her seriously.

    Resident cynic.

Clint: I’ve been meaning to take a road trip around America, it’s beautiful nation it’s too bad it’s going to hell.

    But getting down to business……
We men need to draw a line, hot or not it’s inappropriate. I remember when I was 21 and at the bar some Hot chick grab my ass, I turn around and gave her a dirty look.
    A c~~~s attitude is always…..
“I can do what I want, when i want and get away with it.” That s~~~ needs to stop!

Your brother’s friend would be within his rights to defend himself. Ofc women aren’t held to the same standard as men are, so he’d be the bad guy if he actually had.

@bigboy83 I agree. It’s just the double-standard that angers me the most. The butt-grab isn’t a big deal itself. Looking at it in the context that if the situation was reversed, it’s a safe bet she would have gone absolutely bonkers and made a big scene about it. The double-standards are ludicrous.

I had a random girl in high school(when I was in high school), grab my waist. I didn’t acknowledge anything, just kept on walking to class. I think my indifference to it was used to accuse me of being “gay” later on.

I’ve done things like that endless road trip of yours and enjoyed the dickens out of it. Awesome, dude!

You were right to keep your mouth shut. It was not your club, and you were not a bouncer or responsible employee in charge. Most importantly, a good stand up comic has to learn how to deal with hecklers.

BTW, I stopped going to clubs altogether, and cut way back on restaurants because of loud jerks messing up my fun and ineffectual crowd management on the part of the owners. Mainly, those places are a waste of my time and money if I am not enjoying myself. I can buy a stack of DVDs and books for the price of one club visit, and I have total control over the guests at my home theater.
