This is what comes to mind when I hear Dresden: I read a story about the incendiary bombings (when I was a kid) that created tremendous drafts so strong it sucked live people down the streets and into the inferno.

Those that forget the past are condemned to repeat it.

Jan, honestly, I wouldn’t name anything after something notoriously evil where slaughter of human beings has been done.

Not Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Iwo-Jima, or any desecrated place where the ultimate sin was done. Those places are hallowed grounds to be respected and remembered for the killing fields they once were. Least we forget…

I’m not s~~~ting on your thread, just that notorious names and places jump off the page for me.

I would love to walk through walls. I could learn all sorts of forbidden knowledge.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)
