My health has been taking a real s~~~ lately, cant keep food down and finally went to see a doctor.
F~~~ing nightmare right away at the receptionist desk. Women don’t f~~~ing listen. Repeating myself constantly.
What the f~~~ dont you understand about not feeling comfortable with a woman doctor? Almost lost it.
Pile the stress of not being able to eat, lack of sleep, and the intense abdominal pain togeather, I am a ticking time bomb with a hair trigger.
I have to go back next week to see a specialist, need some tips to stay calm, otherwise im gonna be hauled to jail for assault and battery.
F~~~ the #metoo c~~~, its gonna be #you’re next
Don't chase tail. Turn yours around, walk away, and live free!
That does not sound like fun. Practice deep breathing. Are you drinking plenty of water?
On liquid diet over a week now, CT scan shows colitis and diverticulitis…
GI doc visit next week.
Going insane not being able to eat.

I can imagine. You’re a pretty strong guy, Buck. I know you can make it through this. This perseverance is building character which will serve you well in the long-run.
Stay strong, Buck. We’re all pulling for you.
cant keep food down … intense abdominal pain
My Dad had both of those similar symptoms a couple of years ago .. it was duodenal ulcer which was successfully treated with diet and medication. They put him on liquid diet for a week. His was so swollen it was blocking things. He has been doing fine ever since the treatments. They gave him a prescription stomach relaxing/anti-reflux drug that he still takes to this day. It’s not very expensive and he gets it filled every 90 days. Small capsule tablet.
After the first week of his diet/drug treatment, they moved him to what they called the “BRAT” gentle diet during his recovery .. B=bananas + R=white rice + A=apple sauce + T=toast = BRAT.
Sometimes, even now when he gets some occasional indigestion for some reason like after eating some spicy chili, he goes back to the BRAT menu for a day or so which is really gentle on the digestive system and gets him feeling pretty good again.
Good to know, been researching foods to stay away from.
Here in Wisconsin the brat diet means something completely different lol.
No fresh fruits or veggies, no nuts or seeds, low fiber, no caffiene or alchohol.
On antibiotics now, things are starting to finally move again.
Dont take your health for granted. Eat healthy when you can guys, the old man pays for the young guys sins.

Anonymous6Turn your head and cough.
Relax your muscles, breathe slowly, bend over, and the procedure should only take a few minutes.
Lol, thanks Venom. Hard to keep my composure when 300 lb. land whale with fuller beard than my scrub slaps on the nitrile glove.

Tell her to go slow, it’s your first time. And lots of lube of course….
Last thursday I told the male doc “yah know, in some countries we would be considered married”.

So far all I can do is think of my happy place, riding along some back road, wind thru the hair and the low tone of factory tuned exhaust…..

What do you do to relax and unwind? You’d be surprised what stress does to you and you do not even realize it.

Anonymous5They used to think all of these types of conditions were caused by stress but it’s now known it’s the other way around.
The quicker you get it fixed the more relaxed you’ll be, without trying. If diverticulitis is not perfored antibiotics should help to control the problem.
However diverticulos still there and they can get infected/inflamated again. Hope they stay cool, not much I can say.
Get better and good luck.
To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.
Remind yourself (and them if necessary), of just who is paying their wages.
At the end of the day, you are in charge.
Have a joint before you walk in . That will relax ya bro
THE PLANTATION HAS NOW TURNED INTO THE KILLING FIELDS . WOMAN ARE NOW ROLLING CAMBODIAN STYLE .
Sorry for your pain brother. Think long term bro. Think about you many years from now happy and healthy living in harmony with nature. That bitch in front of you is simply short term. Much strength to you brother !!!
Peace is > piece.

Here’s a description of your problem: If you roll all your problems up into one big ball of pain and frustration, then any little frustration or irritation will trigger a big reaction from you.
Here’s the solution: Don’t roll your problems up into one big ball. Unroll the big ball, and break it down into smaller, manageable tasks. Then prepare those tasks indvidually.
Take your example of dealing with the receptionist. It’s just a five-minute task, an irritating-but-nonetheless-manageable negotiation if you prepare for it. Yeah, your stomach is on the fritz and making you feel like s~~~. But you put that aside and focus on the task in front of you: Negotiating calmly and pleasantly with the receptionist.
Once you put yourself in that mindset, prepare the negotiation. Anticipate what she’s going to need from you and get your paperwork together. If you’re going to need special accommodations from her (like insisting on a male doctor), then take a few minutes and prepare that argument: Write down your arguments on paper so that you have them at your fingertips, and then review them just before you have to talk to the receptionist.
And so on.
My point is this: Put aside all the other s~~~, focus on the negotiation with the receptionist as a separate task, prepare for it adequately, and it won’t seem like such a big obstacle.
Then do the same with all the other stages of your doctor’s visit: Dealing with the drive down to the hospital, dealing with the parking at the hospital, dealing with the doctors, dealing with the pharmacy, etc. Don’t roll all these things up into one big ball and see them as one long nightmare. Instead, see them as separate short-term irritations and prep them individually until you can handle them pretty much on auto-pilot without getting flustered or irritated.
Things are always easier if you break them down and tackle them in small chunks. Unroll the big ball of pain and frustration and break it down. Tell yourself, “Yes, I feel like s~~~. But I can put that aside for a couple minutes while I handle this one task, if I prep for the task properly.”
Anyway, I hope you get feeling better quickly.

That made me laugh.

Good point.

Sorry, bro. One of the things I had to give up. Made me eat too much, making the problem worse. Head is way clearer now.

Baby steps, I remember that from “what about bob”. Its easy to get lost looking at the big picture. I have to try to not worry about what may happen, just worry about what is happening. The past is the past, cant worry about that because its already over.

Ouch. You’re going to die a HORRIBLE death after horrendous surgeries and s~~~ bags that you have to deal with. That is…if you do what your doctors tell you and follow their treatment recommendations. Read everything on this website and follow it to the letter. F~~~ doctors. They don’t know s~~~. There hasn’t been a real cure for ANYTHING in 100 years. The pharmaceutical companies see to that. All they care about is developing drugs that you have to keep taking, all the while you get worse and worse before dying a horrible death.
