Dramatic Increase in Incarcerated Women Over The Past Four Decades

U.S. jails have seen a dramatic increase in incarcerated women over the past four decades, according to a recent report from the Vera Institute of Justice.

The number of people in jails has increased nearly fivefold, from 157,000 in 1970 to 745,000 in 2014, the report states. However, the total number of women in short-term detention centers increased at a much greater rate from nearly 8,000 to 110,000. Aug 20, 2016

Even with the laws biased against men the c~~~s STILL wind up in jail. .
Imagine if the law was applied equally. .
Probably be more women than men in prison.

It’s almost impossible to convict a woman of anything, on top of her just not having a reason since society panders so much to her.

Most of these women aren’t in jail because of some crime they committed with male victims. Society has shown it doesn’t care about that.

These are the women that have been attacking other women. Not even killing children will land a woman in jail, if they are male children, but even female children have lower priority than adult women in the US.

The only possible way for a woman to get thrown in jail is to not only attack and victimize other women, but to have done it with no males in the vicinity that could have been blamed and jailed instead. And to not even be able to come up with an excuse of depression or something else ridiculous to get the judges to sympathize.

These women are brilliant in a way in their ability to actually force the system to incarcerate them. It is no easy task.

Hell yeah. Considering how hard it is to get a woman imprisoned, this increasing number of female inmates is truly scary – because if the figure is that high, imagine how much higher the figure of acquitted or unreported women is.

Women are likely to corrupt faster than the justice system trying to adjust to this new reality!

We are seeing the beginning of a new era where women will soon be viewed for the hypocrites that they are. Can’t hide this from the public. ?

Or it could just be that some of these women somehow *GASP* CAN’T FIND A MAN TO TAKE CARE OF THEM so they, like many men, decide it’s easier to go to jail than to try and make your own way in society. They’d rather take their chances on the inside than the outside, especially if they’ve already been in prison before.

There has been a definite increase here in Oz in recent years – quite dramatic – but I don’t have figures for the past few decades.

Of course that just means more manginas crying about the poor things being locked up, how outrageous it is etc etc etc.

And many of the things they do – paternity fraud, non-custodial mothers kidnapping children and fleeing the country etc – aren’t even criminalised here. Things that will destroy a man’s (or child’s) life here mean nothing to the courts.

EDiT: And let’s not forget that women’s prison is holiday camp compared to men’s.

Women are often very nasty! most of those in jails sure deserve it. Recently a female prison saw its first murder committed by an other female inmate, I bought the DVD on amazon, blood all over the prison cell, female are becoming more and more violent as they become more wealthy & more politically powerful copying the males nasty crimes.

Something to think about … it’s not just the law that favors women, it’s society, it’s your family etc. I’ve seen women in my family get away with things for 10 to 15 years that no one would have let me get away with for a week ! and it’s because they are female and have kids.

This is something that a lot of us are guilty of! just like when a ship is sinking ‘ women and children first ‘. Men go to wars losing limbs for their country while women are busy cooking apple pies. Men were always disposable so women went much further and are now making us into 3rd class citizen whom should cater to ever growing whimsical demands. WTF to that! Enough is enough!
