Jan, I posted the following as a closer to another topic today, it’s highly relevant to your post.

My ponderings on the Australian ANZAC day long weekend – wondering if ever stop to appreciate the many that gave their lives in wartime to secure a future and lifestyle that gives the bulk of medical research monies, no-fault divorce, single-mother welfare, the majority of the child-custody in most divorces and now, ironically, lower entry requirements for the Australian military and Police services.

    AUSTRALIAN NAVY –

    requirement: 15 Push-ups.

    requirement: 6 Push-ups.

    AUSTRALIAN ARMY –

    requirement: 15 Push-ups

    requirement: 8 Push-ups

    AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE –

    requirement: 10 Push-ups

    requirement: 4 Push-ups

Police to introduce “female-friendly” fitness tests (but Police bosses try to take readers for fools by saying they have not ‘dropped’ standards) –

Police survey reveals there are too many women in the force –

    http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/too-many-females-in-force-according-to-police-survey/story-e6frf7kx-1111116010135

    To quote the article –

MANY police who responded to a Herald Sun survey nominated the feminising of the force as one of the three biggest problems facing Victoria Police.

“There are too many females who put male members at risk out on the street,” one said.

“I have been injured three times in the past 12 months fighting drunken idiots and getting no backup from my female partner, who is too small or too scared to help.”

Another said there were too many promotions of women based on gender rather than ability.

“We have this emphasis on promoting females through non-operational positions and putting them in operational supervisory positions with minimal operational experience,” the officer said.

Many police also regretted there was no longer a minimum height requirement for recruits and that the force had scrapped some aspects of the physical training to make it easier for women to pass. “They have dropped relevant components to allow below-standard persons in,” one officer said.

So much for equality between the sexes.

F~~~ me. If I need a fireman or police officer, they’d better be able to actually help me. I don’t care if they have a vagina or a penis. But if the standards are lowered for vaginas, give me a penis please!

Allowing females to skip out on pullups kills a plan from former Commandant Gen. James Amos back in November 2012, which stated females had all of calendar year 2013 to prepare for a future requirement of a minimum of three pullups. During 2013, females were still allowed to rely on the flexed-arm hang. The plan stated that in 2014, pullups for females will be mandatory.
The Marine Corps in 2013 studied how proficient females were at pullups. The results were embarrassing. A total of 55 percent of females couldn’t meet the standard of three pullups. In fact, out of 318 female Marines, the average pullups they could complete was 1.63. And 20 percent of the total who could actually achieve three pullups did so by cheating with an extra lower body motion, called “kipping.”

How the f~~~ do they still call themselves MARINES???You cannot even do a f~~~ing pullup, what the in the holy hell are you gonna do when you have to pull a team member out of the s~~~?? THERE IS NO F~~~ING KIPPING FOR THAT IS THERE???HOLY SHEEP S~~~ BATMAN, I wouldn’t want any of these split tails having my back side…I would rather go in knowing I had no one else other than my fellow brothers or f~~~ing nothing at all!!!! They are making a f~~~ing joke out of what is is to be a MARINE….

Men are at a time when panning for gold in a urinal has a higher probability of success than finding a faithful and loving woman, it is time to go your own way.....

Good, while they’re at it, just drop all the physical requirements and make it so only women are allowed to be recruited.

Every action movie and TV show these days shows a slightly built female beating the tar out of massively built professional criminals.

Could it be that life is different from fiction? Gosh, say it ain’t so!

No bad Jan, just adding to your much appreciated thread.

Next thing women will want is to be brick layers provided they only have to carry one brick at a time, vegetable baggers provided they only carry 5kg bags and not 20 kilogram bags, and furniture removalists provided standards are lowered so they don’t have to lift fridges, mattresses, washing machines, safes and any box heavier than 5 kilograms.

Sorry, but if I am ever in a car accident and am knocked unconscious, I want a big, burly police officer or paramedic to drag my body out of the wreckage before it goes up in flames rather than some slim, mousey who can’t lift my bodyweight and skulks in the background waiting for backup to arrive.

Here’s an easy solution – women only combat units. No danger of men risking their lives for the wimmin and when they start taking really heavy casualties they just might think again.
