The time to have “Hope” is in your mid to late 20’s. At this age the Unicorn may actually be more into you than your money. Past 30, which I am well past, any romantic interest is just a ploy to lock down a Beta wallet.

The risk of getting finacially raped is far too great with no protection for the Man from the state.

The only reason I could think of to marry past 30 would be if you really wanted kids. But think about it, do you really want all the physical, financial and emotional stress of bonding with and bringing up a kid when you’re getting older? A kid that you could be torn from at any time for any reason with no defence available to you?

The reward just does not warrant the risk.
