‘Domestic Relations’ sounds like a divorce Judge.
Anyway looks like someone went looking for a little payback.

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (AP) — A judge was shot and wounded Monday morning as he walked toward his county’s courthouse, and a suspect was killed after a probation officer returned fire, officials said.

The 65-year-old Bruzzese hears general and domestic relations cases as one of two judges serving in Jefferson County Common Pleas Court.

Hard to comment on this one until we know more facts. However, one of them is real asshole. We have to see which one it is: the judge or the shooter.

My money’s on the judge. I remember hearing about a judge here in SC that had an affair with a woman who’s divorce he presided over. When he was called out on it, he charged the paper with contempt of court. Judges have no accountability and are as crooked as the day is long. I’ve never known of one that wasn’t.Power corrupts. Domestic Relations? Is that how they call the judicial gang-rape of Men nowadays?
What do they call custody hearings then, Juvenile Displacement?
What about alimony hearings, Financial Alleviation?

They didn’t want to put Divorce Judge because then all the guys woulda gone “Aaah, well that makes sense he shot him then”.

Suspects mistake was in going after the judge at the courthouse instead of at his house. I have no respect for a poorly executed plan.

Other than that, f~~~ the judge.

In modern US society judges have too much authority and are too unaccountable for their actions and decisions. All decisions should be made able to be overturned or reversed in some way. And these lifetime appointments where it is near impossible to remove them from office needs to end, particularly the US Supreme Court. OK rant over.
