Of all the issues men have to face the lack of respect shown to this particular issue is easily the most infuriating. We can start with the Duluth model and work our way out from there. The fact that this particular page is so short in an area that needs attention badly is almost tragic. Especially since abuse can be done in more ways than just physical abuse.

This blog by Men’s Rights Resources There are a bevy of written articles there that will not only hopefully give men a way to spot and know a little more about this. The article is written in three parts
    1) Articles, and research
    2) How to spot abuse (A very critical skill for your brothers to see)
    3) Resources for those in need

I am currently in a very bad situation regarding a second offence of domestic violence when, in fact, both times the alleged victim lied about the offence. I have very good evidence that this current situation is a gross misconduct of the police submitting a false report and the alleged victim was drunk and high and not a resident and the police arrested me and left her in my home. I cannot afford an attorney this time due to my very good IT Management career being destroyed by the first situation. My curren, court appointed attorney is not even trying to defend my civil rights and investigating my claims. I need help with this case to show that leo’s are perpetuating this gross discrimination against men. Please any help will be greatly appreciated!

Also, both women verbally and physically abused me knowing that I would never retaliate.

    @jackpot,
I wish I could help, I really do. Also, I wish justice prevailed instead of the current way of things.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

I wish you could too. I have tried to get an attorney that would let me make payments with no success. I have a decent job now and it will be in jeopardy if I am convicted of this false felony dv charge.

Domestic violence laws are a discrimination of half the populations (men’s) basic civil rights of being innocent until proven guilty. We are considered guilty until proven innocent. The only way to absolutely prove innocence is proof that you were not at the scene. This really needs to be changed due to women and leo’s false statements.

Sorry to hear about your situation. You are absolutely right that it is s~~~ for men in the domestic violence scenario. Both the presumption of guilt with no due process and virtual absence of resources for men in a dv circumstance.

Try the following resource, and they may be able to point you in the right direction:

    http://www.menandfamilies.org/

they are based in Toronto but may be able to refer you to someone in your area.

First of all thanks for letting us know what’s going on. If there’s something that is really being pushed hard for the MRM this is one of them.

What I can do is follow up on some of the links that are in the article. What I can do personally is refer you to a lawyer in Oregon
    https://www.facebook.com/rk.hendrick?fref=ts

He has specific knowledge about this issue and could also likely refer you a skilled and affordable lawyer in the area where you live.

I would also suggest that you let as many people know about your situation. DO NOT hesitate to go on social media and ask for support. Go to NCFM, AVfM and other places and make noise. I realize that you may have some issues with what some of the people might do at these sites. Or possibly even the concept of the MRM. This is what they’re set up for

And if you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to ask

Well said! I’ve been through the same thing. I had to go to court when the police themselves admitted there was no evidence of any assault, no injuries or property damage. The only evidence of any wrongdoing was an admission/statement by my ex that she restrained me in a room with her against my will after I had repeatedly asked her to leave me alone and let me out.
I don’t know what you can do to get out of the situation you are in other than get a good lawyer. I was lucky to escape criminal conviction.

I’ve lost count as to how many times that version or something very similar to it.
