Dolores O’Riordan, the Cranberries Singer, Dead at 46

The band confirmed O’Riordan’s death in a brief statement, “Irish and international singer Dolores O’Riordan has died suddenly in London today. She was 46 years old. The lead singer with the Irish band The Cranberries was in London for a short recording session.”

The statement continued, “No further details are available at this time. Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.”

No cause of death was revealed. The Irish Times notes that the Cranberries were forced to cancel tour dates in 2017 due to O’Riordan’s ill health; the band cited “medical reasons associated with a back problem.” O’Riordan had previously been diagnosed as bi-polar.

Cranberries were one of the few bands I liked back in the early 90’s. Even if she had a feminist haircut back in the day. My mom’s younger brother is 5 years older than me, and so a lot of the music he came into was stuff I ended up listening to myself.

Please, the chick was a SJW feminist retard who moaned into a microphone like someone in a large amount of pain. The “music with a conscious” BS was a tired genre even then.

    Brit I assume?

Did you read Q magazine like a wanker in the 90’s LOL.

Best concert experience ever was flying into Edinburgh (I am Canadian) in 1997, picking up a copy of Q and seeing JAMC were playing that nite and seeing them in a small venue. Awesome!

    46 is too young.

Well, “Zombie” was really the only song that I ever knew, as I wasn’t that much into all of this “grunge stuff” in the end (knowing better)…

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

Such a sweet voice, a loss for all the women who spent ’90s evenings drinking box wine and rubbing their clit to the tune of “Linger”.

I'm going my own way. Maybe I'll see you there.

I saw her in concert once. A fascinating voice belonging to an obviously troubled woman.

IIRC, she came *that* close to taking holy orders before joining the band.

Do not date. Do not impregnate. Do not co-habitate. Above all, do not marry. Reclaim and never again surrender your personal sovereignty.

Yes, this ^^^^ and the return of some 60’s bands is what saved the 90’s.

Thank God we had some good British satellite radio channels back then.

In July of 2018, this honey pot forum was sold out to an unidentified NPC sock puppet and troll organization. Most independent thinkers and writers migrated to other MGTOW forums as a result of the never-ending infighting and deliberate trouble starting caused by members who were given "carte blanche" by the admin to do whatever they want. Before my departure, I only left a few thousand cat pics here to comfort and ridicule the feminist owners who now run this place. Their background agenda is to make MGTOW look like a club of losers the public eye. And during the course of 2019, they actually managed to destroy almost all other MGTOW venues as well. Here is the truth about "theindependentman.org" aka "TIM" which was created as an extended workbench to further divide the community. When you register, they install a spyware Zombie cookie on your browser that does all kinds of things the user does not know of: http://www.filedropper.com/essay-on-the-removal-of-malware-cookies-used-by-tim

You forget the verve and the lyrical genius, Morrissey.
