    I’ve purged a lot of women from my life but still have some remnants hanging on in terms of conditioning I am attempting to shed. I am going to be doing a 30 day ‘monk mode challenge’ of tons of exercise, no women/sex and heavy focus on myself to get back to serene MGTOW status.

    It’s loosely inspired by the nofap movement as indeed sex of any kind will not be part of it as it encourages desiring women which I need to lower.

    Every day I am doing
    500pushups
    100 pullups/rows
    5 min of planks
    100 leg exercises
    1.5 mile run
    10 min meditation
    cold showers
    no sex at all

    If you are at all interested in taking this on, or trying a lighter version let me know.

    I made a video about what I am doing to try to keep myself motivated and if anyone else is into it great.

    If the vid is against rules my bad and it can be deleted just wanted to inspire some brothers.

    That’s pretty intense,I already workout every second day plus my work is physical,eat right only take cool showers but the no fapping I can’t do,it’s actually been proven unhealthy to let it build up inside and may be linked to prostate cancer.

    Besides there’s no better stress reliever than a nice jerk before going to bed,relaxes me,clears my mind and
    makes my sleep better.

    The only place I desire women now is on the internet,lol

    Great video brother. I have been the less aggressive version or rather a variant of what you are doing for past year.

    Exercise 5 days/week (1.5 hours at the gym), healthy diet, no woman/sex, and driving myself to reach my goals for the last 8 months. I made a topic of sexual transmutation a while back because I sense that active channeling of idle time into watching porn or masturbating is very counterproductive to a sound mind. Rubbing one out on the other hand when the urge just gets too much and distracting is pretty good from my perspective.

    Good luck to your endeavour and kudos for putting it on video. It will help with staying committed to the goals and give some brothers motivation to be more active.

    I actually wanna add a nerd perspective here: Physical activity is very healthy for our minds. It has shown to improve long term memory, mood, and self-image. Evolutionary our brains evolved while moving around (sometimes as much as 12 miles/day for men and 6 miles/day for women). We became someone’s lunch otherwise. Our brains are designed to work more efficiently with stimulation by moving around/sweating/pushing the comfort levels.

    I would meditate a lot longer than 10 minutes, probably at least 30 minutes. Might be difficult for some because it’s hard to all of sudden be still, when your body for all these years is so used to moving around constantly. If that happens to be the case, try splitting it up into 10 minute sessions, 3 times a day, for example. Try to work your way up. Add more sessions if sitting still for longer than 10 minutes proves to be difficult. You can’t over meditate.

    No Fap can also be difficult for some people. It requires quite a bit of willpower, especially if you have a high sex drive. But, to me, there is nothing more reassuring, when you can will yourself and your (high) sex drive to be completely under your control.

    Any time thoughts of sexual desire or wanting to look at porn or something intrude, don’t tense up and fight it, there’s never a need to. Use it to train your willpower instead. Acknowledge your lust, look at the clock and set a timer for say 5 minutes for instance. Go ahead and look at some porn, maybe even jerk off a bit, whatever you do, just don’t climax. When the time is up, and this is the most important step, doesn’t matter where you are, you drop everything, close the browser and stop, move on and meditate or do something else. It is imperative that you do not go “ah, I’ll add another minute… then another…” because we’re trying to break that cycle. The more you do this, the more you lower the timer. Eventually, your will is going to overpower your sex drive.

    Sex drive is not the only way though. Pretty much anything can be used as a way to train your willpower. Maybe you want to clean your desk but you keep delaying it, meh I’ll do it later that sort of thing. Maybe you want to get out of bed by 6, but you keep rolling around when it’s time. The key is, just do it. Think to yourself there is no other option but to do it. Clean your desk now, or set a time for it. When the time comes, do it.

    I’m no fitness expert but isn’t that exercise routine counter-productive? 500 pushups? 100 pullups? My understanding is that the body gets torn down during strenuous exercise, and need to recover and build up. Unless you are already in superb condition where these tasks are not that taxing on your body, you could very likely do more harm then good. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong.

    And perhaps this was mentioned in the video (that I didn’t watch) I would highly recommend that if you’re going to commit that strongly, you make sure you eat a healthy diet as well.

    Honestly, I’m not really sure what you’re hoping to accomplish with this, other then punishing yourself. What do you hope to be different after these 30 days? Do you have a plan to maintain a certain level of fitness after these 30 days?

    Ok. Then do it.

    That is impressive and I wish you all the best.
    I’m up for the no sex at all. After 15 years of practice I’m getting pretty good at it. Also the 10 minute meditation may be doable. The rest would probably kill me!

    Women are so bad, if they changed the law so I kept the house, I still wouldn't marry one. I'd rather be homeless.

    Greetings BROTHERS:

    I had never done meditation in my past. I started when I turned 69 about a year ago. I found what is called a “guided meditation”.
    It is created by Sam Harris, A noted neuroscientist and author. In the link below, there are two versions: One is nine minutes long the other one is 26 minutes long. He slowly talks with you, guiding you through the experience.
    When I want to get to sleep, either sitting or laying down, I use the nine minute version. I’m usually asleep before the nine minute one is finished. My next experience is waking up in the morning.

    By the way, I’ve also used Sam’s meditations as a substitute for alcohol, in my version of “monk mode”.

    My physical work-out is every other day. I walk/run my dog for over a mile. I bicycle about 3-4 miles. And I swim between a quarter and a half mile.

    I only have one BIG Cup of coffee in the morning. I also have a half a cup of pomegranate juice, which lowers my blood pressure to around 115/70.
    I seldom go out to eat, as I enjoy working/playing in my kitchen a lot.

    I usually rub one out once a week, which keeps Mr. Lizard-Brain satisfied.

    Since becoming MGTOW: Now, when a woman starts talking to me, my human brain is already wondering: “what does she want from me?”

    This is a nice challenge, though I have my own mostly bodyweight routine I follow that I’ll stick with.

    As to no fap, f~~~ that.

    If I go for more than a few days without release, I’ll put the moves on some slinky broad and then my three year record of not sleeping with women will go straight out the window. Case in point: Two weeks ago I went to a street concert in town. The place was packed and the bands were rocking. A tasty redhead started talking to me about the band that was playing, and in order to hear each other we had to move in close. At some point I slid my hand up the back of her neck and pulled her face to mine for a really great macking session. We did that on and off for the rest of the night. I still don’t know her name. Don’t want to. I’ve never done anything like that in my entire life. But because I hadn’t fapped in a while, I was primed and ready. Danger.

    So yeah, good Monk Mode challenge you have there, ‘cept for the no fap. Report back and let us know how you did. Good luck!

    dude, i almost dropped my vodka and tonic when i got to the exercise part of the video..
    you have my utmost respect .
    years ago i decided to take a year and be celibate, pray and exercise.
    it was excellent for me.
    i grew as a person and had almost no body fat..
    at 26 years old it was difficult but worth it.
    the first month of no fap was tough , after that it got easy.
    it’s all psychological.

    Exercising is great. However, I don’t get the no fap thing. You’ll still end up having wet dreams whether or not you jerk off, so I’d rather just jerk off.

    Once you have a Fleshlight real vaginas become worthless.

    I like your super monk mode challenge bro. Cheers.

    I’m up for doing some alternative of this.

    Mine would include:

    Interacting with women as little as possible (minimal conversation)
    Interacting with manginas/ idiots as little as possible
    Definitely run (3-4x weekly)
    swim(2-3x weekly)
    kettlebells
    sauna and steam room like a beast
    reading!(books of adventure, such as of explorers, climbers, warriors)
    extend the ideas of mgtow to a man in need at least 1x a day
    meditation

    I like this concept…

    I am taking the challenge. Yes, I’m with a woman, but have not f~~~ed on 21 days already, so I can go another 30 no problem. I will take the NO FAP challenge, I believe fapping drains energy, and makes you beta.
