I agree with TFM on this issue, as it so often happens. As it always happens, TMF makes me think about my entrenched beliefs. This, for me, was 12 minutes well spent!

Its interesting but I don’t see mgtow as a problem that requires a solution.

I agree with his theory that society has evolved over millenia to accomodate human biology. Other mamals do not face the same problems that humans do because humans are the only biped mamal and thus the human female pelvis has had to evolve to both facilitate an errect biped stance and childbirth. This makes the pregnant human dependent and vulnerable a way that other mamals are not.

So human society has developed with gender roles, men have their role and women theirs. This is how things have been forthousands of years, men and women working as a team for the common good.

Feminism has upset that ballance by telling women they are not valuable and in order to gain value they must assume the roles of men. So men become increasingly challanged and marginalised by the new gynocentric society feminism has created. And thus mgtow was born. Mgtow is not a problem requiring a solution, mgtow is the solution to the problem.

This is why women “run like girls” It puts them at an extreme disadvantage in a natural environment.
He doesn’t even mention the prolonged childhood of humans compared to all other mammals which is another burden on the main child minder, woman.

He doesn’t even discuss the reality that women have never been able to love their protectors and providers (partners) because doing so would substantially decrease their chances of survival throughout the 200,000 years of evolution in a paleo world.
Imagine if women excused men and let them avoid the horrors of the hunt on the plains of Africa if there were too many lions or hyenas about, or if they’d been traumatized because he’d witnessed another hunter being torn to pieces in a recent hunt or if they’d been attacked by neighboring tribes.
She can’t treat a protector/provider with soft gloves.

Love is only necessary for the bonding process and becomes a serious drawback once the bond is complete.

I don’t see MGTOW as a problem, or as any kind of solution except for individual men, for whom it is more of an escape than a solution to any grand societal problem. Men ditching the expected reproductive formula doesn’t offer a fix for the problems that drove them to do so. I see it as more of a common-sense survival reaction.
. MGTOW will be part of the reaction that may help to force a change, but MGTOW itself can’t be what makes the needed changes any more than not buying a 100 dollar pizza will make 100 dollar pizzas more affordable. It might make the pizza guy think about lowering the price, just as MGTOW might make the gynocrats realize their deal just isn’t selling any more.
I am not however optimistic that women are going to have a meeting and suddenly decide not to be c~~~s. The current generation(s) will not be able to adjust. Oh, they might make little concessions to try to put it back like it was, but they won’t ever understand that it should not have gotten that way in the first place. They would have to first admit they were wrong. Which way are you betting on that one? Any solution will have to come from the later generations, if it comes at all. These old dogs aren’t going to learn new tricks.
Will there be a collapse of society due to the falling birth rate? Perhaps, especially in some countries, but it will take a while, and some adjustment may be possible. Do I really give a rat’s ass? Speaking just for myself, it’s too late for me, and my bag of f~~~s is empty.

Mgtow is as many things as there are mgtow. It cannot be easily defined as it is all things to all men. And that is why mgtow frightens women, you cannot understand that which you cannot define and you cannot fight what you cannot understand.

To assume mgtow needs a solution is to assume the decline in birth rates is a problem. Maybe its not.

Maybe I’ve taken one too many economics classes, but I tend to see this issue as a micro vs. macro issue.

Feminism is a macro movement: You’ve got leaders with an agenda. They’ve overstepped their bounds. MGTOW is a micro movement. Each person going their own way, ghosts, smoke. You can’t fight smoke. MGTOW is like the opposite of the Occupy people. They all gathered around, but then couldn’t organize and couldn’t figure out any real demands. MGTOW don’t gather, and don’t have any demands.

Even if feminists wanted to bargain, they would be bargaining with an empty chair. And they don’t want to bargain anyway.

Now, women on a micro level are starting to see their value diminished and looking around wondering what the f~~~ just happened. So, on that level, they may bargain individually, but again they are bargaining with more and more empty chairs. It’s like playing musical chairs with no chairs and the music stops when you hit the wall.

Your prize is a box of wine and a bag of kitty litter.

The male prize for not playing is a life of contentment, all of your hard earned treasure, and a pockets full of f~~~s not given out. Or you can stick your hand into the bag of grenades and pull the pin.

So, for men, there is less and less to gain by getting married, and more and more to lose. And the benefit of not playing is pretty damn good. The cost / benefit analysis gets worse and worse for a man every day, so less and less men are willing to make the commitment.

It’s all very logical, which is the biggest problem for women. There is no defeating sound logic. The only way to make it work is to up the benefit to men. But, and here is the kicker, we would have to believe women that the deal is better. But most of us have been lied to so many times that we would never believe them. You’ve lied one too many times ladies, so personally I don’t see what could ever make the situation better. Men don’t trust you any more, and not because we don’t know you, but because we DO.

In my opinion, MGTOW is the solution. I watched this the other day. I understand what he is talking about. I really don’t see it as an issue. Once you walk away the “solution” for society is not your problem anymore. MGTOW is a solution for the individual.

MGTOW is a symptom of a problem.
Note that TFM doesnt say that MGTOW is a problem, but that MGTOW has a problem.
A symptom has/results from a problem.
Listen from min 1:38 to min 2:05 again where he talks about the problem MGTOW has and you will see that hes correct by saying that MGTOW has a problem.

Therefore MGTOW isnt the solution, because a sympton of a problem never can be the solution of the problem, because the problem created the sympton, here MGTOW.

MGTOW became a symptom of the problem, because MGTOW is the best option for us MGTOWs to deal with the society were living in (this society is the problem)
