For some reason Jan has Hitman “blocked” (obviously unintentionally) and that is why he can’t message. This can be changed by going to your /account/ page and tweaking your “privacy” settings. Jan can “unblock” hitman and then you guys can message each other.

So it’s not a malfunction or anything. Just a privacy setting.

Thanks for bringing this up – great question – and it’s really up to the individual. Your display name can be anything you like. It’s mostly for your own added privacy so you can change the way you APPEAR on the site without having to leave, re-join and start over.

It doesn’t do much for continuity or credibility in the forums if you change it too often, so it’s not really recommended if you have followers or other members who like to read “you”. It just gives you the most flexibility which YOU can control yourself.

He will be back when ready or not at all depending on the state of affairs in his life. Our guy Stealthy is mired firmly still in the beast. He still has a wife that can complicate his life in many ways. Ways that I, and many others here have either already dealt with or the lucky among us never will. Plus he did have an uncle die recently. Maybe he is playing music by a campfire and took his cell phone and smashed it.

My divorce nearly killed me. It is not easy and I think he will survive the storm.

After a little further reflection this morning I am inclined to think that it is a case of her getting lawyers more involved in the divorce. I would not like the things quoted here about her to be testimony in that upcoming nightmare. However the value of his writings will be missed for future members both young and old. It is way too late for me but there are many younger men who can be spared from living the quality of life I have. It is not all bad, having gotten used to it, but it is not at all what it once was. Cheers for explaining. I just like to know who I’m talking to. I was talking to Stealthy at one point not knowing it was him because he had changed his name, but i tweaked it when i saw his writing/grammar style i.e lots of short lined writing which looks like poetry lol.

I’d be the happiest man in the World if women were to actually become truly feminine again. I’m not for chaining women in the kitchen as chattel. I also will not apologize to anyone or feel guilt for being a man.

However, things have gone WAY too far. MGTOW is like the ceramic brake pad mounted on a caliper squeezing the rotor slowing down a runaway truck. Of course, we’re going to take some heat.

I think we’ll all miss his input, but I limit personal danger while remaining active here. My state and status help with knowing that nothing I say here will be used against me, but my own filter is my first line of defense.
