Compare the internal academic politics of today with that of Germany in the 1930s and that of the Soviet Union of the 1920s. The parallels are prominent, the exceptions trivial.

To elucidate:
In Germany in the mid-30s Jewish professors were expelled, and govt-approved professors accepted their promotions and pay raises and kept their mouths shut.
In Russia in the 20s and 30s, the not politically correct profs were expelled, and ditto the career paths of the survivors.

Is today in the Western World different? No, it is not at all different except in trivial details.

Both of you are incredibly right. What problem is to me is a hear all the same debunked an incredibly corrupt statistics and studies recited over and over again by the most popular programs. Some of them use the click bate what’s driving me insane!

One of my favourite shows the think tank used a study to do a sensationalist video. This study has not only been debunked hundreds of times in other videos but is based on gross misconduct and straight up lies 145,000 views.

Where is academic responsibility. Caaaaarrrrrrnnnnn!!!!!

These authoritarians in Academia are celebrities. Students have no rights against these tin pot dictators. Once they decide to kill your career, there is nothing that can be done to recover it. Without a PhD and/ or their approval, these despots can steal your grant money and take credit for everything you do.
I spent the past 30 years involved with major universities studying many fields of discipline. The gynocracy and other elites have successfully c~~~ blocked/ sabotaged my numerous efforts to get advanced degrees.

What happens when a man finally comprehends the cold and calculating thoughts that are going through a woman's mind, while her eyes are brimming with tears?
