Doctors these days, except for surgeons, are complete idiots. They don’t know the first thing about health, and this article shows they are nothing more than middle-level drug dealers.
My success rate for diagnoses of serious illness is 100%, that of my doctor zero. I’ve even had a doctor Googling symptoms. As for young female ‘doctors’, the less said the better.
Honestly this situation isn’t the doctor’s fault. I mean, yeah most of the ones under 45 are thick as hell, but this should be put on the mom. Who gives a 3-year-old popcorn? They’re still trying to stick Legos up their nose and their tiny little throats choke on EVERYTHING that isn’t basically mush. I didn’t let my kid have popcorn until he was about 4.5 and was starting to speak in complete sentences.
EDIT: That’ll teach me to skim. They gave the 3-year old STEROIDS for an airway obstruction after choking on popcorn? Did none of them have first-responder training of any kind, because that’s the first thing they teach you in CPR classes–clear the airway.
About 10 years ago my dad developed pneumonia and ended up in the ER. The on-call doctor treated him like he had asthma and nearly killed him because the treatment for asthma exacerbates the pneumonia.

“Let us wait a little; when your enemy is executing a false movement, never interrupt him” –Napoleon Bonaparte, 1805While a simple blood test or x-ray could prove I had medical problems, my experience with medical “professionals” is that unless my problem is obvious to the naked eyes, the “professionals” will refuse to run tests, lie to me, and accuse me that my medical problems were all in my head. Then, they make me leave and demand I pay the bill.
While President Trump is trying to lower prices, he is stonewalled at every turn.
The way things are going U.S. citizens will be starved and denied services (including medical care) from paying taxes to pay for welfare and medical treatment, at the highest prices possible, for the rest of the world.
Human nature only values what people are allowed to have. People do not value what they are denied from having. This will make it much easier when the collapse happens for the people to turn on the doctors and nurse whom denied them treatment, but whom treated those the people were forced to pay for.
Personally, I do my best to stay away from doctors, and will only go if something EXTREME happens.
This being said, I haven’t been in years.
I’m guessing they would want to do this test and that test and then prescribe this and probably prescribe that with some type of follow ups et. etc. etc. etc.
Once they get you into the system they attempt to lock you in as a “regular” customer, and provide a new patient for their specialist doctor friends.
Yeah, not really interested in following their “advice” and taking THEIR drugs.
So, why go if you’re not going to play THEIR GAME??

So, why go if you’re not going to play THEIR GAME??Same here. The last time I went to a doctor, I was pushing my luck with a staph infection. My choices were, go to the doctor, or die. I had to have the antibiotics. That was so many years ago, I can’t remember exactly……..I think it was 7 years ago.
That same doctor tried to put me on high blood pressure medication. I wasn’t going to do that. The next time I went to him, he said my blood pressure was “textbook”. So, he was going to put me on a drug I didn’t really need. Long, long time ago he wanted to put me on some other drug. Never did that either.
Pharmaceuticals are not good for you. The mother of a friend of mine was in very poor shape. The doctor had her on a drug store full of pills. My friend said his mom stopped taking all that medication and then she got better. Pill for this, pill for that…..nah, not me. I get an infection that won’t eventually go away, then that’s the only time I’ll take drugs.

While I agree to an extent, I do think Drs and a medical system are absolutely necessary. The way I see it, the threat of lawsuits, over training of medical professionals, insurance and costs, and generally crappy people has made the medical profession a mess. The end result is that almost all responsibility for ones personal health has been all but removed. If you aren’t healthy, it’s not your fault, it’s the systems fault. Which is even more pathetic considering the resources available to eat and exercise properly as well as self diagnose your issues. Instead, everything is the systems problem, and everything must be done by the books, instead of what’s logical and best for the patient in hand.
I have no doubt that the Drs in the case above were following procedure and doing exactly what the system felt was best to protect from lawsuit as well as maximize profits.
IMO, we need to lower the qualifications needed to specialize in a particular area. I don’t know why a podiatrist needs to be able to diagnose for the flu. This would allow for more Drs, resulting in cheaper costs. At the same time, people should be allowed to self qualify to prescribe certain maintain drugs for themselves. If a person has been on blood pressure medicine for years, there is no reason to see a Dr to renew the prescription. And honestly no Dr is going to make a patient prove they need viagra. It’s just wasted money. I’d even say maintenance drugs shouldn’t be covered under insurance, since they are guaranteed costs. We should have health savings funds to cover that, and allowed to shop for the best price to reduce cost.
There is no doubt that the medical system does some great things, but there are clearly some stupid policies and laws in place that are not designed to the patients best interest.
Ok. Then do it.
Was put on antidepressants by a “Physicians assistant” 15 years ago. Then stayed on and off after subsequent real doctors continued treatment on that crap. Recently tapered off them but I’m mentally f~~~ed now probably forever due to the destruction of my brain chemistry from this legalized poison.
Eating healthier now, exercising more and giving fewer if any f~~~s is my prescription for a healthier life. I didnt need an MD to figure that out.Eating healthier now, exercising more and giving fewer if any f~~~s is my prescription for a healthier life.
