    Hi my fellow MGTOW brothers,

I haven’t watched TV for over 10 years now and I am 35. I remember back then I didn’t have the concept of going my own way, I just didn’t find TV interesting or nutritious. I think subconsciously I realized that I need the freedom and control over what I spend my time on watching.

I find it quite funny, that many men, who say they like watching TV, typically also share a lot of the bluepill traits, but that’s a no brainer, since the mainstream media has intentionally ridiculed and brainwashed men for so long, why wouldn’t they think their greatest achievement in life is to take care of a woman and be her bitch.

Now that online media such as youtube is slowly taking over the traditional media, I am wondering how that’s gonna influence the next generation. Most men I reckon would spend time on watching what they deem interesting, but what impact do you guys think that will have on the future generations, as we get more and more freedom to filter out information we don’t need. Now I use the word freedom very loosely, since I am sure feminists will and are trying to bring censorship to “protect” their feelings.

I have never once owned a tv subscription. Have I had a tv? Yes. But I never subscribed to cable or satillite, and I never will.

I had watched tv before, and god, it was f~~~ing horrible.
Every. F~~~ing. Station. had at least 1 politically correct buzzword in the show. Each show was suited towards a bunch of brainwashed dolts, virtually void of anything intellect. The only shows that I found that were interesting were shows such as national geographic, but you have to wait all day just for it to come on.

And if that isn’t bad enough, you get to sit through 10 minutes of bulls~~~ commercials before you even get to watch the actual show. Don’t even get me started on how men were treated and portrayed either.

And you get all of that for 30+ dollars a month?

    No f~~~ing thanks.

Not much. Mostly just watch Youtube, that’s my TV. Also have a stash of downloaded videos and movies to watch when away from the internet.

I stick to Netflix and PC gaming for entertainment. Cheaper than cable/satellite and more fun.

Same here. Better quality of products. Most control. And best of all. No commercials.

Not ‘don’t watch’ so much as loathe. I’m only really interested in documentaries, and there are no good ones anymore. Even the Sky At Night has some big fat pointless bitch presenting it now. F~~~ing worthless s~~~. Read a book.

I stopped watching TV ’round about 2000 and before that it was for the kids and wife. I’d watch news keeping in mind it was propaganda. We mostly watched movies on VHS and DVD’s. I got disgusted with TV when the programming comprised mostly of commercials.
One day, I was watching the News. One guy was being interviewed in the street about some crap that had happened. Then I changed channel and I saw the same guy being interviewed and he had a different name than on the other channel! I thought If even the News is bulls~~~ why am I paying for this s~~~?! So I took the TV ( it was a big one ) and literally threw it out the window and into the backyard.
    Never owned a TV since.
As for the influence of Internet on the next generation, just look what TV has done to our society and extrapolate the results by 100000000……

I do not watch TV, unless I’m visiting someone with it on, and that doesn’t happen much. I do watch DVDs and selected shows I can download. When I get a download with commercials, I shut off the sound and walk around the house. The exercise is good for me, and being told I’m an idiot therefore buy some product is bad for me.

I try to avoid TV most of the time, but when I’m working, I usually just watch it for background noise. I realize most of it is as s~~~ty as the reality shows that come on it. Not to mention the annoying as f~~~ ads. And, I wouldn’t mind ads on TV as long as they were interesting and most of them are feminist garbage treating men like s~~~. Hell, I even watched a few shows on Bravo just for the laughs. The shows like “Million Dollar Listing” are supposedly full of straight guys, but hell, they look and sound like they’re f~~~ing manginas. I was about to call them gay as s~~~, but I realize that there are gay/bi MGTOW out there that despise that s~~~ as well.

If feminists are for equal rights, why is it they're against MRA's and MGTOW? Simple, because they're not for equal rights, they're for dominating men in every way possible to make men their bitches.

No TV for about 10 years, on the internet though I’ve watched series’ like: Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Breakin’ Bad and The Blacklist but little else besides that. I find books better than films.

So I guess I’m not the only one who gets annoyed with forced advertising so much that he hits the mute button and does something else till it goes away.

When I’m by myself sometimes I use the TV as ambient noise without watching it

I gave up on broadcast TV about thirteen years ago. I still buy and read quite a few books “without batteries” .. Tonight’s line up includes about an hour of reading (current book – A General’s Life by Omar N. Bradley). and later, watch an old Cagney/Bogart movie (The Roaring Twenties). Started collecting DVDs in place of television a little over a decade ago. Eventually, I’ll probably wrap things up spending about 46 minutes sitting next to Morn over at Quark’s Bar enjoying a random episode of either DS9 or Babylon 5.

I had TV through my IP, but cancelled when I noticed I hadn’t watched it for 6 months…..

On the other hand, I play computer-games very frequently, and the difference is while TV is pacifying, gaming is mental exercise. At least when you play games, you think, versus just absorbing blindly what is coming through TV.

A lightning strike took out my aerial about a year back (I think – there was lightning, there was a boom, there was no reception from that moment) and I never replaced it. I have a cable TV thing that came with my internet that gives me Nickelodeon, Disney Jr etc for the kids (and ESPN for the World Series of Poker :)) but otherwise happily living without it.
