The lawyers keep it going until the funds are gone and they all settle. My sister and her ex #2 (out of 3 marriages and 5 engagements) legally fought for weird things including a toaster. A pathetic used four slice toaster filled with sentimental value .. and burnt bagel crumbs. Another example within my own family; you see partly why I reject it all. All of it.
