I am not just talking about physically demanding work, but just a normal office job. From your experience is it easier as a woman to get a job and get more leeway when being lazy or just not working well?

Is it easier for a woman to get a job? yes due to discrimination aka diversity .

Do they get away with more s~~~? I think that would be a manager by manager thing, MGTOW bosses i’m sure would not let them get away with much. Where as a female boss might be more understanding or even participating in work slacking off. And im’ sure a blue pill male boss would let them get away with murder.

Most reasonable men wouldn’t reprimand a female employee because she’d start crying. And it looks bad for business if she breaks down in front of patients/customers, and makes the boss look like an asshole.

But you can’t also take them in a room to talk about the issues because she’d still cry and go pound-me-too.

Not having female employees is preferable but so many single mothers, so need to feed their kids.

So many problems, only one solution.

Yes, although I wouldn’t call what they do “work”. The expectations are much less than they are for men. A man is expected to get the job done, no bitching, no complaining, just do it. A women, due to her infinite complexities (/sarc), is expected to bring a huge amount of baggage. I forget who the poster was here, but he nailed it: women get to play the game of life on easy mode.

    The answer, is no.

I work in software. My work place is desperate to attract female employees (predominantly male). When women come along and we have openings, I know for a fact they get short-listed.

We also have very accommodating parental leave policies. You know. To try and get women to stick around.

If you are an attractive female you can get in with just about any company regardless of education or experience. I got my undergrad about 15 years ago and really wanted to be in the advertising world. I won a few major national awards in college and even had a commercial made for an insurance company.

I applied at all of the major ad agencies in my area to no luck… the hiring managers were all very good looking young guys and gals. I remember being in a group interview with 10 or so 20 something women who dumber than a bag of hammers that all worked in an agency. I was rejected yet they got in.

This one girl I went to school with had an English degree in college an she got hire on at an ad agency without any marketing or business experience whatsoever.

It took me many years of unpaid internships, grueling s~~~ marketing jobs before I was able to crawl my way into the agency world. I did make it though and that I can be proud of.

The world is not fair simply put.

    Why women work?

    1. She spends too much.

    2. Travels too much.

    3. The beta boy she’s with cant get his act together.

Actually, #1 is “to find a husband so she no longer has to”. Then the next 3.

I think it is easier for them to obtain work because of hiring quotas and as far as them doing easy jobs, I think they get most of that too. Remember this is based on a man’s perspective. Ask the same question to a female and she’ll try to exaggerate and make it out like the hiring quotas don’t exist and that women do their fair share of whatever menial work it is they do. Remember women have no honor and fairness is based on what is convenient and easy for them. That’s why a man can slave his life away 60 hr’s a week at a time, pay the bills and come home and be expected to do HIS share of helping around the house and a woman believes she is doing MORE by being a stay at home mom and doing “her share” of the house work.

Hell yeah its easier for women.

    1. As much as they are employees, they are filling a quota, so they need to be kept on for appearances sake.

    2. Everybody is afraid to give honest feedback on a woman’s performance, because it is so likely to be turned around as harassment, sexism, or cause unpredictable emotional outburst. Better to do nothing. Just don’t go there.

    3. Nobody expects any real performance from a woman anyway. Men, you can lean on them all you want.

I'm going my own way. Maybe I'll see you there.

A couple years back, we had a new female employee. I extended an invite to a group outing. After a long weekend, my boss pulls me aside and says she thinks I was hitting on her and the behavior was inappropriate, but that it didn’t sound like me. I was basically given a verbal warning, at which point I instituted my own Mike Pence policy, before it was a thing.

If I could talk to my daughters, I would tell them to come live with me and go to my school. I have heard of employers wandering the halls and hiring the first woman they see who knows and IP Address from a nail polish bottle.

For the most part yes, if we use a feminist approach/answer to your question.
By that I mean if one lumps all jobs, qualifications, employer and employee expectations world wide, into one giant wad of political crap, instead of a distinct scale.
Generally speaking, the expectation from both employer and employee is the the MAN will perform or suffer punishment. Period
The same is expected to a lesser degree for women, in a mixed gender workplace. Due to legislation, preferential treatment both forced and offered freely, and in the name of a peaceful work environment women generally do have it easier.
    However.
It’s a different ball game when its an all or mostly women work environment. Men can be “mean” in the workplace, but women get down right vicious.
In that environment there is always conflict at one level or another due to the Queen Bee/Top Hen mentality and constant competition to see who is the most treacherous, conniving bitch of the pack. In that arena, they have it harder emotionally and mentally.

But then again WTF do I know.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

Nah, they belong at work. I wouldn’t want to have to support one.

Let them work in their own totally gender segregated work place where they don’t get preferential treatment. You know. For equality.

F~~~ that! She can get out there and earn money too! You’re telling me you’d rather have traditionalism where you spend your life supporting some bitch who spends the majority of the day watching talk shows and soaps, while taking an hour or so to do a few household chores like sweeping and laundry? No f~~~ing thank you! I want no part of that deal! Traditionalism is for suckers!

You would not believe the trouble I had simply because I required women to do the work for which I hired them.

Which is why I don’t employ women any more. Problem solved.

I have women in my office that just break down and cry sometimes. About some inoculous bit of work. Not because they are being yelled at or bullied, just regular work stuff that goes on ever day. Except that day sally was upset about whatever in her life.

I consider it a form of abuse against the innocent other person just trying to get thru the day and get the work done. And it’s certainly rank manipulation.

If a man were to raise his voice, that would be a reportable offense, but for a woman it’s perfect acceptable to hijack the whole flow of work with an unreasonable emotional outburst and we’re all supposed to walk on tip toes and act like she wasn’t just violent with her emotions.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.
