    I train at a 24 hour gym.

I have learned douchebaggery exists all hours of the day.

    Fuck this planet.

It’s been over a month since I began to go to the gym regularly again and already I’ve had people stare and smirk whilst I’m working out.

It doesn’t bother me that I’m the skinniest guy in the gym, I’ll carry on working out until a new skinny guy joins the gym and has the same c~~~s stare and laugh at him.

Thats really rude and pathetic on their part. F~~~ them. I see beginners there all the time and i think good on you, at least you joined a f~~~ing gym and are trying.

All the meat heads c~~~s in there better realise that was them once upon a time.

Lots of egos and elitist attitudes.

If anyone laughed at me I’d throw my weights down and confront them in a very loud voice so the whole gym could hear.

Anyone who stares and smirks will never see themselves develop to their full potential.
It’s pretty much a guaranteed fact that their improvement over the next year will be nothing compared to yours. Nothing.
    Ignore them.

Quit the gym. Pick up the book Solitary Fitness by Charles Bronson. The tagline is as follows: You don’t need a fancy gym or expensive gear to be as fit as me.
    Charles Bronson

Use gravity & your body weight for lifting. This ain’t no beach season bulls~~~ either, it is functional fitness. With a focus on health, diet & consistency. Dude bangs out like 2000 push-ups daily, bronco!

If you want to get a place to build your body without c~~~s, go to a bodybuilding gym, those are usually old school places, old equipments, no hype, usually no treadmill, just the iron.

Expect rust on things, expect guys using gear on the bathroom, but you will be c~~~ free. I miss my old gym, it was a place like this, no c~~~ can stand going there for more than a month because it was f~~~ing ugly and “not good for selfies” + every guy there, is there to build a sick physique, that means, no time to give attention for the c~~~s, no time to chat with them, no “fitness model” bodies. There was only 3 kinds of guys there, guys with no muscles, fats and muscle freaks, c~~~s didn’t like any of those, is another reason that they stay away.

I agree with men only gyms. But when I’m lifting I don’t give a s~~~ what’s around me.

I joined a new gym recently and it’s great. No tvs blasting Adele’s latest tripe or the rest of the stupid female-friendly bs it normally has. Just weights and a few threadmills, very basic. Have seen hardly any women here and the ones that were just got on with their routine. It is cold and less eye-catching and changing room is unisex. No children either which is a big bonus.

My gym is somewhat of an oddity. It is your typical corporatized gym, but there are a significant number of serious lifters there. More importantly, there are a significant number of female lifters there. On a weeknight, you’ll see 3-4 women lifting heavy. This tends to set the tone for other women there. Women are competitive, and they simply don’t socialize much when there is another woman there making them look silly.

So my gym is fairly business like. Any chatter usually comes from the men who like to work out in groups of 3+. 1 guys lifting, 1 spotting, and the other are talking and taking up too much space. Those are more annoying then any women where I’m at.

And to be honest, I find that I am more motivated when there are attractive women around. Maybe that’s the wrong motivation, but I’ll use it.

Things have taken a turn for the worse though, as they recently remodeled and dedicate a rather large section for personal training sessions only. Some of the duplicate equipment has been removed, making it difficult to get in on the one remaining machine. I like the convenience and atmosphere, but I may have to consider switching for this reason.

    Ok. Then do it.

Just transferred to a powerlifting gym, no more f~~~ing treadmills. Still I see more and more women coming in trying to do what we men do. Trying to lift heavy weights, squatting and deadlifting. I don’t mind, as long as they stop attention whoring and making f~~~ing girly noises.

I see these girls chatting, standing, laughing for 75% of the time, the remainder they do some weak-ass exercises that don’t really do anything. Distracting as f~~~.

We need a men-only gym. Women are emasculating our gyms. Even the most masculine gyms keep getting more women. Pity.

There should definitely be a mens only gym. Women are a plague and a f~~~ing liability. Visually they are annoying as f~~~ as well.

If I want to look at women, I will go to the mall. I don’t want them anywhere near the gym I go to.
