Living in Texas and watching how the laws work with child support and the profit the government makes, one can only deduce that the government and society will do everything from encouragement to shame to get men to marry. If she is a single mom and you adopt even better! Then encourage the women and roadblock the man to create a divorce. Men truly are the romantics, we believe in this false notion of love, otherwise with this evidence before us we would never sign such a contract. My cousin recently got married, and he is already having to put his foot down on his new brides spending habits and her going out drinking with her mother. I give it 5 years at most, most of those absolute hell for him.

I really hope I live long enough to watch this whole thing collapse. IT WILL COLLAPSE. It’s just a question of when. It will result in just as many homeless women as there are men. They will change the laws to favor women even more but by then it won’t matter. The cat will be out of the bag. Nothing will fix it. I’ll make sure I have the popcorn ready to watch this major $H1+ show unfold.

I guess I had always recognized it but, Brain Pilots remark recently about “those are the women taking your order at Denny’s at 3 am”
I’ve been paying extra attention or something but there a lot of old single women out there, working minimum wage, trying to hang on.
I was in Walmart yesterday and there had to be over a dozen of them filling to go orders. It was impossible not to notice. I see it everywhere now.

I wonder if they even realize how bad they’ve messed up, how good they could have had it with just minimal effort on their part.
Of course they don’t. It’s my fault they’re still working..

Very minimal effort on their part. All they had to do was be a good and loving wife. Do a little housework….have a little sex….and don’t be a nagging complaining bitch.

If that is too boring for them, then they can get a job and save for retirement just like men have to do.

My Ex remarried a guy that makes 1/2 my salary. Of course she was getting a hefty sum from ME for child support at the time.
The child support ended and a year later she divorced hubby(chump) #2 and moved on to #3.
I figure she didn’t care UNTIL the money spigot went dry. Then she needed a richer BETA.

He has been warned, his parents told him not to marry her. In the back of his mind he knows it’s a mistake, told me in a joking manner “I’m only making this mistake once.” Makes me wonder is it the same with all men who marry?

He may have known he was making a mistake.
Perhaps a feeling in the pit of his stomach, warning him.
But maybe he isn’t aware of how much harm could come to him from such an enormous mistake.
