Do modern women bring anything to the table?

I have yet to figure what the modern woman brings to a relationship. I grew up on a farm along with most of my extended family and in a farm setting the women contribute greatly to a relationship and family. The family as unit on the farm all share work and responsibility. From a logical stand point the only difference between the work load of husband and wife is the husbands ability to do heavy lifting. Now I’m an engineer living in a suburban hell and all the women I know have office jobs and zero working knowledge of the world around them. The women I worked with on the farm had a working knowledge of everything on the farm. The point I’m trying to get at is that a conversation with “old world women” is very stimulating and thought provoking, such as how to solve problems with the family, farm, and life. Where the modern women doesn’t know s~~~ about anything besides social media and who is doing what.
The modern women’s salary is easily offset by child care costs since they need someone to take care of the kids while both parents work, and buying all the useless crap the entertainment industry sells them.
I only know of a few modern women that know how to cook and don’t know a single one that has any idea how their car works.

So to boil it down what does a modern women bring to the table in a relationship other than sex?

I really need help with this concept as I currently see modern women as worthless sex toys.

How much SMV is a woman now a days? Besides her vagina not very much. I can cook, clean and even sew for myself so I have no need of those skills from a woman. All I see is unending compromise in the very best relationships. Maybe somebody to talk to if I was lucky enough to find a STEM woman who uses logic and reason. They exist as I know a few female engineers, but still I would not want to change my lifestyle of solitude and happiness for conversation I can get at work and a vagina that would be leveraged as a weapon against me sooner or later.

As far as “modern” vs “old school” women. Modern women are toxic as f~~~, but all western women know that if you displease them they can take you to the cleaners.

I agree with FrostByte, and would add companionship and something nice to look at.

However, it most definitely comes at a cost and high risk. And as FrostByte stated, you are giving up solitude. Then, even if she brings her own money, you still have to compromise or negotiate on many things, such as how you decorate your home, where you live, how you spend the holidays and vacations, etc.

I appreciate all the replies. I have not dated in about a year and I’m happy with my current state, got money and no debt with a good job. Just want to know if there was any logical reasons out there besides the biological want for sex to tango with the devil. I do not want kids so looks like I will keep on keeping on having fun with being brutally honest with the women I do encounter. The truth has never drawn any women in. I believe in function over form but even the women that lack form don’t have function.

I understand what you mean. My grandma is old school too, and she has also worked hard besides my grandfather, even when it came to do physical work. I don’t know if they’re “happily married”, but I do know it’s a solid, healthy family. Something like this would have worked for me. But it’s very difficult to achieve it with, as you say, a modern woman.

My grandma tends to agree. She understand why I don’t want to get into a relationship with a girl from the city. She is very critical of them and always says they’re useless. But she also says that I should look for a traditionalist girl to marry. That might not be a bad plan, the problem is that there’s no guarantee she’ll remain like that after marriage; actually, it’s a high risk that they will become feminist and mess everything up, especially if we lived in the city.

There was another member on this forum (sorry, can’t remember who) who managed to have a stable marriage, but that involved a lot of risk mitigation. Ideally one would look for a traditionalist woman from a traditionalist family. The parents must have been strict with her, and close contact with them should be kept at all times. The idea is to make sure she’s not just raised in the right culture, but also she should expect shaming from her family if she goes off track. Also entourage matters a lot, since women tend to imitate each other; having more liberal female friends must be avoided. But there is always a risk that things will go bad, and if that happens it can be a very bad situation for you since the law is not on your side. But I’m not sure if I would be happy in such a marriage. Her loyalty would not be genuine, but the result of control and manipulation.

Ask any man who thought a mail order bride would be a good work-around.
