1) messy divorce: we all know that means messy for him, she was going to clean him out.

2) the deceased wanted total custody with visitation: why? She was goin to take the kid away, he wold never see them again nor the grand mother.

3) post divorce: I don’t know how much an investigator earns, but we all know he wold be f~~~ed up. Then comes the DV charges etc.

4) chad: I bet my left testicle the wifey decided on the divorce becouse she already has another fool on the sack, or a few.

Granny goes to prison for life.

Dad goes through hell on a daily basis because not only did his lose his wife, but he lost his mother.

Dad has to be wondering whether he is somehow responsible for all this.

Dad most likely has to give a portion of custody to dead ex-wife’s parents…who blame him for everything.

If it were me I would not be going through hell because I lost my cheating wife.

In this case there most likely was no good soluton, this one may be better than some other potentials, you know where wifey has chad murder the ex husband, or her dad kills him because he’s,an ex-cop (yes someone posted a story here recently about this very thing). Partial custody to the other grandparents isn’t a sure thing, they will have to sue for it and it could,be very long process and may come up empty. Good lawyer will expose double standards court takes with father custody by inherently assuming he will do worse/needs more help/less capable than woman.

How about wife is kicked out the marriage without any child support money, share of assets, limited or no access to kids, and severe shame by the community? You know, the way we used to deal with these situations. You know, setting up real consequences and deterrents for bad behavior as oppose to praising it.

I agree that there is no real good solution when society has gotten this far out of wack.
