Divorce Hearing Date PLUS 13

13 days after my uncontested divorce hearing last month. There is a 2-week waiting period after hearing.

I expect soon the gold-seal decorated divorce paper to arrive in the mail. Feels like one set of slave chains are about to be broken.

I’m thinking of taking a day off work after getting it, although I am hoping it arrives Friday the 15th or Saturday the 16th when I’m off work.

A co-worker recently told me, "If you want to see who someone really is, divorce them." I have found out how true this is. When your wife drops the façade of being the caring partner, you will witness all of the greed, hate, and spite that she has masked. It is truly breathtaking!

Congratulations, I am still fighting the battle. Wife filed for divorce on March 28, 2017 and we are still negotiating. We reach an agreement and get it written up and then she changes her mind.She wants everything we have and I object to that.

We supposedly have a final agreement now, I’ll wait and see. Wishing you all the best.

I’ve gradually been organizing my N-scale train stuff from 15 years ago. I might just take a day off and get an 8′ x 4′ plywood and put that on top the shortened plastic shelf units I’ve set aside, and start putting track and buildings down for a start.

I still have my old designs from 15 years ago and all the buildings, etc. One area is for residential stuff: houses & banks & schools, another is railroad stuff (locomotive shed, train depots, etc), other is industrial, other stuff is for a coal mine area, and the last area is for a military base (I have military base buildings, tanks, APC, teeny-tiny soldiers, trucks, flat cars with military stuff on them).

Actually, more precisely thinking, the Wine store is on the way to Lowes, so I get some rum, and 8×4 plywood. Then wander around the house in my underwear and striped train conductor hat, and listen to “Lords of Acid” (I Sit on Acid) while I get rummed up and work on my N-gauge trains.

Also, I’ll probably frame the divorce paper. (context, I have frames for my Navy stuff but not my college degrees)

LOVE THE TRAIN IDEA! I have always wanted a train layout but I already have enough hobbies to last me the rest of my life. But I read Model Railroader cover to cover each month and have for many, many years. Some beautiful layouts in there that make me very envious.

Divorce Hearing Date PLUS 17 now. Should have it within a few days. After I frame the divorce certificate, I’m going to turn it into a dreamcatcher, with twine & feathers & arrowhead & beads.

Hang it over the bed so I don’t ever forget, and so the gf can see it so she knows I’ll never marry her.

Well I finally got impatient waiting for the divorce certificate, so I got 8’x4′ 3/4″ plywood and laid out the initial track & buildings, modified a tiny bit from my original plans 12 years ago.

I did however finally order an electric guitar (a basic one). (I already have acoustic and classical guitars).

So on the day after I get my divorce certificate (hopefully this week), I’ll be sipping a pina colada and cranking on my electric guitar. I already got the pineapple juice.

Very happy for you; reminds me of the excitement I had- feels like the weight of the world is removed from your shoulders. My second happiest moment was when the child support was lifted.

The ex was wondering if I’d heard anything (since I would get mail first before her)

There is a 2-week waiting period and I called the court and the magistrate’s paperwork for the divorce certificate had not been pulled and sent up to the judge’s office yet after the 2-week waiting period, but the clerk went and sent it up.

So, hopefully signed and mailed very soon! 🙂

I had gotten impatient late last week, so I ordered my first basic electric guitar system (some day I’ll buy a Strat) but I was jamming away on it Monday night. (Day Tripper, Star-Spangled Banner, Smoke on the Water, etc)
