A day or two ago, I was re-organizing computer files; I had backups from other computers onto one central drive and I was doing consolidating and went into a directory that had old files from the ex. A lot of those are pics of the kids, which is one reason why not to just delete Folders entirely.

Before the separation 2 1/2 years ago, and later divorce, I had found out that she was cheating when I found a whole bunch of nude photos she had taken of herself to send to guys online. I had never found any videos, though. Until this week.

I remember getting on to our iPad as the divorce was immanent and finding the ex’s Match.com profile open with all the conversations she was having with various random men. I also remember realizing that I really didn’t give a damn at that point. It’s a good feeling to realize just how much you’ve let go when you see something like that and it doesn’t affect you.
