I’m an American. I just retired and I have only myself to pat on the back for arriving here at 55, healthy and for the last 17 years single. I’m new to MGTOW, but have a practitioner for some time. So Brothers, thanks for creating and manning this site, wish I got here sooner.
I grew up poor in New England a first born son of an immigrant Italian family in and around Boston. At the turn of the 20th Century, in the greater Boston area, being Italian was just about as bad a heritage to be born into as it can get. Racism, prejudice and bias against Italians was rampant. Now a little more than a 100 years latter; I’m no longer Italian, I’m simply White or Caucasian. Because of that, in today’s media, I am numbered amongst the White Privileged, I’m a Racist even if I don’t realize or accept it and of course I’m a man and should be forever be ashamed of myself for my gender.
A hundred years ago, Italians were Anarchists. Essentially, under educated, poor, not reliable to hold a job and filled with violent angst against whoever crossed them. We did all the crappy jobs, got poor wages, no government support and were treated harshly by every other heritage group, including Blacks. A lot of Italians earned their citizenship by joining the Army and serving during WWI. The people were never grateful for Italian service in this country. Italians turned to crime and organized through family connections for power, profit and a voice in this country in most of the eastern cities of the north and mid-west. Though there were Black mobs, Irish mobs and Jewish mobs with just as much power or more; Italians as a people became the stereo typical image for gangsters, corruption and ruthlessness in America. During and after WWII, Italians had started to cement the idea, that with hard work, education and community assistance from within, we could and did start to carve out a path away from racism, prejudice and bias. A lot had to do with getting lumped into other groups and inter-mingling, with Irish, Polish, Jewish, Swedes, French and Germans. I believe a lot of this had to do with a few things like a nation that learned to hate that was Japanese, the threat and fear of Chinese and Russian Communists. We all bonded to gather as a nationstate of many backgrounds. After the establishment of the Great Society, Civil Rights, Welfare and new Immigration laws of 1965; the faces of the successful and down trodden in this country changed. Those faces became, Black, Asian and Hispanic and the face of America became forever White.
Here’s my issue, we all have some basic tenets that define ourselves as human beings. Able bodies and brains that can work and think. The harder you work and the better you educate yourself, will for the most part open doors to better opportunities if you stick with it, do the harsh things and keep pushing forward. Government intervention in this country has in the last 70 years, started to erode the application to work hard, fight for things that have meaning and make sense and created an ever growing sense of owed or entitled to something you didn’t earn. As the decades have passed and I became an adult, the erosion of the basic tenets have grown and become the power push to reward the easy, lazy, not self sufficient and essentially inept to have legal or subsidized advantage over those who have the will, desire and put forth the effort to succeed.
At some point my heritage became white or caucasian. I notice that every other heritage in this country is hyphen American. Black or Afro-American, Native-American, Hispanic-American. Asian-American. But the brand that represents me, is Caucasian or White. Apparently I’m no longer entitled to be American. There used to be Italian-Americans; but no longer can you find the lesser European-American heritages for distinction. What I now hear is that I’m part of the problem. I’m a racist, white privileged, a member of a genderless society that embraces, women, LBGT and cross cultures. Our society embraces the Athlete, Politician, Celebrity and the Wealthy. No where does it embrace the Labor, the worker bees, middle managers or those that toil in service industries. Women by gender alone are entitled to tremendous advantage over men in every endeavor. The ultimate national weakness of all is asking us to allow women to serve amongst our elite military and if it means dropping standards to accommodate, so be it. We are weakening our very ability to defend ourselves with the best and most talented strengths to be politically correct.
Well this is what it’s come to. On some level I’m forced to bend, yield and accept the new National and World order. Going back to my ancestry roots, I will become the silent Anarchist within America. I refuse to vote since 1996, I no longer support public education, I choose not to participate with women in any venture or relationship outside of family connection and have earned a station in life where I will never have to be supported by Social Security and the Welfare state. Age diminishes us all, but having served at an Elite level in the military I do the best I can to keep those skills honed and my physical condition as high as possible. I study and read on my own that which grows knowledge and overall education. I have a peace which is my own that fulfills my need for spiritual and religious space, growth and belief. I depend solely on the strength of my mind, body and psyche to sustain and nurture myself. I am and will remain, gender interested to assist, train and advise those willing to follow in my footsteps. I refuse to allow race, religion, sexual orientation and gender to interfere with my path or exclude those who seek my wisdom. Media in this age, has labeled me Intolerant, Racist, Bigoted and Inferior Minded. I say to you all, I am not. I am a Free Man that will embrace and treat anyone an equal that demonstrates an equal embrace or treatment in return.
