If you are worth it, they will come after you. Three hundred a month in child support, probably not. A half million in child support and another 3/4 mil in life insurance, someone might take an interest in looking for you.

To the OP, yeah I have had those flights of fancy. I could easily move south of the border and with effort do ok on my own. Open up a shade tree medical clinic and live austerely. However, I harbor no doubt that I would be found or singled out by local corrupt authorities as an outsider.

A co-worker recently told me, "If you want to see who someone really is, divorce them." I have found out how true this is. When your wife drops the façade of being the caring partner, you will witness all of the greed, hate, and spite that she has masked. It is truly breathtaking!
