No matter what you give women, they will always want more. So if they always want more no matter what you give them, why give them anything in the first place?

after my ex had our baby, i followed along with the blue pill plan to marry her. she wanted a promise/engagement ring because “having a physical symbol of her commitment to look at would make her feel more assured in that commitment.”
as soon as things decidedly started to go south, while she was in no doubt planning her exit, she stopped wearing it. in her words it was because “we weren’t getting along.” you would think as the whole point of wearing it was a reminder of commitment, wearing it in trying times would be the most important thing to do. trying to explain anything beyond the most basic logic to her, especially when it opposes her reasoning, would probably make her head explode. not to mention there most likely were ulterior motives on her part to not wear it. so all i got out of it was grief and lost money.
